This really is a romantic hotel! The room was fabulous... Overlooking the river with a balcony, four poster bed, bathtub and TV.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
There is a little restaurant overlooking the river and a rooftop bar. There is also a small swimming pool, but we didn't get to use it during our stay.

The location and river view were absolutely beautiful. The views from the rooms are spectacular and among the best if you truly want to experience the river.
Though the breakfast menu was limited and slightly repetitive, the food was consistently delicious.
The staff were exceptional. I had lost my bag at the airport, and they genuinely went out of their way to help me coordinate with the authorities and recover it. Extremely warm, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay.
The property is perfectly tucked away — peaceful and atmospheric, yet still well connected to the city.
Housekeeping needs improvement. Room cleaning was inconsistent and could definitely be much better.
While the property has a charming eclectic character, parts of it feel slightly run down. Some things seemed broken or in need of maintenance and upkeep.
The pool was disappointing. It was filled with leaves and the water looked dirty. Given Bangkok’s heat and humidity, a clean and well-maintained pool would have made a huge difference

Amdaeng Riverside is full of surprises - its a boutique hotel, well hidden from the busy Bangkok streets, in a traditional neighourhood. Romance sums up the oversize room with its free-standing baths and four-poster bed - the most comfortable of 25 hotel beds during our long holiday! Best of all is the riverside location - watching the hustle and bustle of the Chaopraya River with a cold beer. Merito Coffee is only 250m away and the luxury ICONSIAM shopping mall is a 15-minute walk. We will be back on our next visit to Bangkok. Expect the unexpected!
We didn't know there was a rootop bar - and were not sure if it was still operating. The couldnt work out how to get TV. If you dont like stairs (we love them!) ask to stay on level 2! In any case, the staff will help with luggage.

Quirky boutique hotel, staff friendly, rooms unique overlooking the river.
Noisy! Zero soundproofing from the boats at all hours.
No introduction to the hotel, no idea if we had breakfast included, but we didn’t have it.
