The house was very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. We loved watching the sunrise from the top bedroom verandah. And the barista coffee maker was a treat. We lit the fire on a couple of nights and we were very snug. A very peaceful and secluded spot. We will definitely stay here again if we can when we are next in Kangaroo Island.

The location was perfect for what I wanted. The stone sections of the house were beautiful, the kitchen has everything you need. The wood heater was used daily because it was so cold. Warmed up most of the house but the bathroom was freezing.
Finding and driving the rough track to the property is very difficult unless full daylight. The house itself is fine but the decor definitely needs an overhaul, particularly the window coverings and artwork. Everything is basic and in need of replacing. The mop hanging behind a glass door, on show, is just silly. Plunger coffee but no plunger, coffee machine but no ground coffee or instructions. No railing on the stairwell is ridiculous, especially when carrying bags up and down.
