Edgewater Escape Kangaroo Island

Die Lage ist grundsätzlich prima, kurzer Weg in den Hauptbereich von Kingscote. Der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer ist sehr schön. Es ist alles an Ausstattung da was man für einen Wochen-Aufenthalt braucht.

Das Haus ist teilweise von leeren Grundstücken und rechts davor bzw. gegenüber von Bauprojekten umgeben, das macht es etwas ungemütlich. Es wirkt insgesamt etwas ungepflegt, einige Dinge sind alt und abgewohnt, zB sind alle 8 Stühle abgewetzt und die Sitzflächen aufgerissen. Die Auffahrt zum Hauseingang ist sehr schmal.

Cleaning can be improved

This property has a great view of Nepean Bay from the full width windows of the spacious family room / kitchen. The cleanliness was excellent. Every thing you could need in the kitchen and laundry was provided, including crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, cleaning consumables and equipment.

Small cosmetic maintenance items are required, nothing impacting on the service or functioning of the property.

1. I contacted the people in KI on the Thurs or Fri b4 I arrived. They returned email to say they would be in touch over the weekend. I had to call them at about 5.p.m on the Sunday as they had not been in touch. They responded with an email to say they would send details asap. The lady at Sealink actually contacted them as we were leaving for KI, they gave us advice by return phone call 5 mins later. Really not impressed with the communication. 2. The air conditioner did not work on heat cycle. 3. The driveway is so narrow and the so steep it is not comfortable to use.
