Can’t wait to visit again

The house is a wonderful mix of personal charm, and modern and historic luxury. Breakfast was a standout for French b&b- homemade cake, eggs offered, plus the standard amazing fresh bread and croissants and jam etc. (Breton butter really is the best!) The hosts offered excellent suggestions catered to all desires - I love art and they raved about the sorcière exhibit at the Musee beaux arts, and I am SO glad we went. My partner is more into nature and they suggest trails and at his prompting gave us some local ghost-lore. We also overheard child-friendly suggestions for some other guests. It’s clear that they love the town and region and house and want your stay to be wonderful. House is very convenient, quiet, and the room is beautiful. Shower worked well.

Wonderful place and wonderful staff. The room was very nice, light and spacious. Right in the center of Pont-Aven with walking distance to everything. Maison Castel Braz has a wonderful garden where it was nice to relax.

Special Birthday Stay in Pont Aven

I really liked this beautiful place in Pont Aven. You can walk across a small bridge at the bottom of the hill to enter the main town with a bunch of cute restaurants and shops. The owners are super nice and they even made me and my girlfriend vegan pancakes because we said we were vegan. It was my birthday and they even put a candle on a local Brittany desert and sang happy birthday to me. It was a really special moment. The room was also really nice with great views of the town from the balcony. I f you get a chance to stay in this place in Pont Aven please don't hesitate.

stay there and be happy

Our condition - We were a couple + 2 years old boy. We stayed 3 nights, took the garden view room and had the baby crib available. Hotel - wonderful place, all much better than described! The room was clean and spacious, bed and pillows very confortable, bathroom impeccable. Breakfast - delicious, lots of options (bread, cheese, fruits, eggs, jams, milk, coffee) and many homemade food (cakes, yorgut), impressive. Localization - In the heart of the town, few steps from the picturesque area with river, wood passways and restaurants. Parking - Public, just next to hotel and free of charge. Reception - We never had anything like that before. The owner Gwenn is a very special person who treated us very well, we definitely felt at home. In summary, they increased the expectation bar level for the next trip!

Superb in every way

My wife and I were both wowed by everything about Castel Braz, providing everything we needed for a most memorable and enjoyable visit to the Pont Aven area. Wonderful hostess, comfortable bed, great furnishings and bathroom facilities. Breakfasts were excellent, featuring home-made granola, yoghurt, preserves plus one or two specialty items each morning. Very short walk down to centre ville.

Un alloggio di charme in un villaggio bellissimo

La Maison è situata in un angolo molto pittoresco di Pont-Aven, da cui si abbraccia tutto il villaggio nella sua poetica bellezza. L'appartamento a noi riservato per 4 persone era arredato in molto molto caldo e accogliente, mescolando sapientemente diversi oggetti anche curiosi e particolari, che conferiscono all'insieme colore e atmosfera di casa. La superficie dell'appartamento è grande e lo spazio luminoso. La cucina ben attrezzata e accessoriata. I proprietari sono molto gentili e accoglienti, amano parlare con gli ospiti e farli sentire parte del loro mondo.

La casa non ha l'ascensore, ma del resto è abbastanza prevedibile essendo un edificio d'epoca. Avendo diverse valigie ed essendo al terzo piano questo ha comportato un po' di fatica ma nulla di particolarmente complicato. Purtroppo è difficile trovare un parcheggio, essendo Pont-Aven un luogo molto turistico e consiglio quindi di informarsi bene perchè arrivare in macchina vicino all'alloggio è impossibile.

Assolutamente tutto! La camera era comoda, spaziosa e curata nei minimi dettagli, anche estetici. Deliziosa. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi con noi. La colazione era squisita, soprattutto le marmellate fatte in casa. Un posto incantevole, come Port Aven.

Il était une fois, un chateau...

Jolie maison de pierre, qui se marie à merveille avec cette ville de Pont-Aven. La Bretagne est là, avec son jardin d'hortensias. On jette une ancre, on observe, on écoute, on navigue, on se promène, on nage... La navigation est rythmée par nos hôtes. Amoureux de ce lieu, ils nous font partager, la beauté et la richesse de cette culture. La maison est remplie de trouvailles sympathiques. Le matin, les petits-déjeuners sont gourmands. L'ambiance est sympathique, Merci à nos hôtes, qui ont donné à ces vacances un joli rythme et de la couleur. Tout cela avec sincérité Merci

Les hôtes sont adorables, très accueillants et attentionnés, tout aux petits soins. L’emplacement est idéal, on peut se garer à côté et c’est gratuit, et o peut tout faire à pied a Pont Aven. Le petit déjeuner fait maison est délicieux: des œufs, toutes façons, assortiment de fromage, confitures faites maison, crêpes bretonnes, gâteaux bretons faits maison, café, thé, fruits et plein de petits accompagnements pour démarrer une journée avec plein d’énergie!!

Una notte in un luogo da favola

La disponibilità della proprietaria, anche nel telefonare per noi per trovarci un posto per cenare, impresa che non è stata semplice. La struttura è molto bella e ben curata. Ottima anche la colazione. Da non perdere la passeggiata serale lungo il fiume, vicino alla struttura, dove si trova anche un ristorante gourmet.

Das "petit déjeuner" war jeden Tag etwas NEUES. Ganz besonders die selbst gemachten Marmeladen und jeden Morgen andere auch selbst gemachte Backwaren.

Der Ort hat seinen eigenen Charme. Unzählige Ateliers. Hervorragende Restaurants und die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten auch in der Umgebung. Ganz besonders die herzlichkeit der Leute.

Maison de caractère, aménagée avec charme et originalité. Nos hôtes étaient charmants et très disponibles. Petit-déjeuner délicieux et préparé avec amour.

Attention aux personnes qui ont des difficultés à monter les escaliers: il n’y a pas d’ascenseur.
