Lovely hotel

Super clean and comfortable room. Loved the heated towel rack and hot shower. The bed was very comfortable too. There are free parking lots and street parking nearby. The staff were very nice and spoke English which helped us a lot.

Nice Hotel in a Lovely Village

The hotel and room was very nice, but our room was at the furthest point of the hotel with no view. It was not in the part of the hotel shown on the main photographs. Beautiful fluffy towels and very comfortable even though it was a small room.

The restaurant was not a good experience. Most of our menu choices were unavailable, on a Saturday as well! The steak was not a good cut and was very chewy. The salmon main dish was basically just salmon mixed with mashed potato. The service was so slow, nearly 2 hours for 2 courses, the restaurant was only 1/3 full so they were not over stretched. in the end it looked like the deserts were just not arriving so we left without!

Disappointed in noise level of the hotel

Location was ideal, struggled to find a park but successful in the end. The bed was comfortable staff polite and helpful in lots of ways. Beautiful little village and we arrived as a market was taking place

The noise from downstairs cafe. It was suppose to close by 9am still going until 11pm. I didn’t appreciate having to wear ear plugs and a sleeping tablet so as to get some sleep and yes the window was closed! No air conditioning or a fan

Convenient, comfortable and helpful staff

Location is super central and next to the museum. It was very quiet - I faced the square and wondered if it would be noisy but it was great. I didn’t eat breakfast there but did eat at cafe adjacent, which has awesome staff and great capuchinos. I loved the Phytomer soaps provided and the towel warmers - I didn’t use but it would be awesome in the winter. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful staff. They also arranged a cab for me to Quimperle so I could stay in Pont Aven 1 extra night - the taxi lady was wonderful too! Sweet staff and a lovely hotel.

The helpful and friendly attitude of the staff compensated for any shortcomings.

Reasonable sized room with a comfortable bed. Good view over the central square. Breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced with good service. The restaurant had a good menu with quite a wide range of local specialities available such as sea food, fish & artichokes at reasonable prices.

No food, apart from breakfast, was available on Monday, and no Sunday lunch. I understood this was because of a shortage of staff and the start of "out of season days off". Parking facilities at or near this centrally sited hotel were difficult.

Arriving early, and clearly old at over 70, there must have been rooms on the first floor , but placed on the 2nd, we had 40 steps to climb each time we returned to the hotel.

Superb

Awesome location in the town centre, completely immersed in the little town atmosphere. The hotel is being renovated (we stayed in the already renovated part, while part of the building is still not accessible). The room was clean and well furnished, with a very comfortable large double bed. Breakfast was good, even if not memorable.

Nothing memorable, consider that the hotel is not equipped with an elevator and that, being in the town centre, parking availability around is very scarce.

Central location in the main square,beside the .museum which tells the story of the development of modern art.. Well looked after by smiling staff. Excellent evening dinner in the restaurant.

ParkingCar is very random,with the free parking 10 minutes away up a steep hill.... not a lot of fun in a heat wave.

Awsome stay in awsome place

Location was perfect! Good breakfast, tea and coffee available 24 hours Right in the center of the town, very quiet at night, good restaurant. Free parking on the neighboring street. Very hospitable and friendly staff. There was a cafe in the square right below our windows, with a band and singer, so we had a free concert. Lots of galleries around.

I liked everything, but if you prefer fancy toiletries, bring your own - the ones in the bathroom are from a dispenser.

It's everything we could have wanted in Pont-Aven.

The thing we loved most about this hotel is that it is in the middle of everything. The Musee is right next door, the river is a few steps away, a popular cafe is just outside the door, and it's surrounded by art galleries. For readers of the Brittany Mystery Series by Jean-Luc Bannalec, you'll feel like you already know it. Our room was not luxurious but comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was tasty and filling. And the front desk was welcoming and very helpful. We found street parking two blocks away. We felt like Gauguin would have enjoyed staying here if he came back today. Commissare Dupin would have made this his base for investigations.

They don't have their own parking so we had to drive a few blocks to find a spot. That was just a minor annoyance which was easily resolved.

Excellent location, very good breakfast reasonably priced, excellent restaurant! No allocated car park but no problem a finding a nearby parking space each day. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

Passage très dangereux avant d’arriver dans la chambre 110 très bas , pas assez protégé et lorsque j’en ai fait la remarque à l’accueil on m’a répondu qu’il fallait faire plus attention . Vous jugerez si vous y passez

L'emplacement, en plein cœur de Pont-Aven, la qualité de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner dans une grande salle spacieuse et l'amabilité du personnel.

Il y a parfois un côté vieillot, alors que l'hôtel semble avoir été rénové récemment (forte humidité dans la salle de bains par exemple et absence d'un sèche-cheveux), et, surtout, pas de parking attenant à l'hôtel (Seulement un petit parking municipal autorisé de 19H à 10H.)

Schöner Ort für einen Besuch in Pont Aven

Perfekt gelegen am zentralen Platz der Stadt. Die Terrasse ist vor allem in der Abendsonne ein herrlicher Ort. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön renoviert und komfortabel ausgestattet.

Unser gebuchtes Zimmer war zur Anreise nicht verfügbar. Wir wurden dann auf zwei Zimmer verteilt, von denen eines mit Ausstattung für Rollstuhlfahrer keine Duschkabine hatte. Alle Sachen im Bad waren nass. Das hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr bescheiden. Der Service dafür ausgezeichnet

Chambre confortable et propre. Bouilloire dans la chambre. Gardien toute la nuit pour rentrer tard, de bon conseil pour se garer pas trop loin.

Pas place de parking devant l'hôtel pour débarquer ses bagages. Pas de parking à proximité. D'être au 2ème étage sans ascenseur.
