"Brilliant location by the estuary. The room had a terrace festooned with wisteria in bloom overlooking the river. Quite a little sun trap. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. We ate..."

Charming hotel, located in a quiet area of the port, away from the town center. Our balcony room had a pretty view of the port. Very convenient parking opposite the hotel. Very friendly staff, especially Luc.
Absence of air conditioning during heat wave weather.

The rooms have a nice view or big terrasse. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and accomodating. Good croissant at breakfast!

Beautiful views and incredible location. The restaurant is also fantastic although we didn't get to have the breakfast. We had to leave early for work emergency.

The hotel is situated in a quiet, off the beaten path area of Pont Aven and is close to parking and a grassy park. We enjoyed being a short walk away from the main part of town which allowed us some privacy from the crowds and noise. We couldn't have had a better view from our room's terrace which was dotted with stately homes and wooden boats, bobbing on the river. Our bed was roomy and comfortable.
While our room had a view of the river and a lovely terrace is was terribly small and provided nowhere to open one suitcase let alone two. We had a very narrow closet where only a few items could be put. Typical of "Inn" accommodations the bathroom was very small. There was a TV mounted high up on the wall but no remote to use it and the hotel staff was unable to provide one. What we didn't like was the food. Upon check-in the girl immediately asked if we wanted the breakfast, mentioning it was "table service" not buffet, which I said yes to. That evening we chose to eat dinner in their restaurant, immediately I had regrets. The table was sticky and the flatware not clean, even the wine glass had a large spot on it. I ordered one of the few non-fish entrees, the mushroom/asparagus en croute, my husband chose the fish and chips. It took 30 minutes for the food to hit the table, mind you there were only two other tables full, the rest of the restaurant was empty. My dish was bad by American standards but I'd rate it horrible by French standards. A ring of puff pastry (similar to a Trader Joes prepared food item) sat on the dish with a scoop of creamy liquid on which floated several tiny pieces of mushroom not totaling a whole and 2 straw thin asparagus draped over the top for 28 Euro! It did not taste good. Fish and chips were OK, tartar sauce was very oniony. I ordered dessert which took 45 minutes to arrive at the table and tasted old like it had been prepared the day before. The next morning I called down to cancel breakfast and was told I'd be charged whether I ate it or not, because it already had been ordered (?). We found our breakfast laid out on a table in the atrium - complete with hovering flies. While it was OK, there was a huge misunderstanding about what exactly breakfast was going to be. I thought we'd have a waitress and a menu, not a pre-prepared expanded continental in a to-go box on the table.
