A wonderful hotel, in a superb location, with excellent service.
A prefect location, in a beautiful riverside spot. Beautifully decorated room, very comfortable bed, crisp clean bed linen. Spacious room with a view, and all the necessary facilities. Excellent pre-arrival communications and instructions, plus added convenience of free parking adjacent to the hotel, in addition to three free parking bays at the hotel itself. Delicious, fresh continental breakfast, and excellent service. I cannot sufficiently commend the manager and staff for their attention, help and warm welcome. A gem of an hotel, which we recommend without hesitation.

Friendly, characterful hotel with a spacious private terrace overlooking the river
We loved the location by the river, a little way from the busy centre but easy to walk to and the private terrace.
There was not much space for luggage in the room and no fridge.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful place.
Fantastic location. Beautiful views from the property. The attached restaurant was marvellous. Staff friendly and accommodating. Easy free parking around 200m from the property. Relaxed atmosphere.
The rooms did not have any hand soap in them. Otherwise nothing to fault.

The hotel is certainly charming, we had a furnished terrace with a river view, very nice bathroom too. Continental breakfast was good

HAD TROUBLE FINDING THE CHARM!!
Pros: 1. Location is great. On the edge of the center of town right on the water. 2. Elevator was very nice 3. WiFi is fast and reliable 4. Coffee in the bar is excellent 5. Fan provided in the room 6. Free parking lot relatively close by
Cons: 1. Bathroom is ridiculously small. Toilet is in a separate room and it’s hard to open and close door without lifting your leg. Shower is tiny. There was no hand soap at the sink. 2. There was filth around the edge of both bathroom areas that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. 3. There were brown spots on the carpet right outside the toilet that looked like someone didn’t make it to the toilet. So gross!! They list carpeting as a feature…I think it’s gross! 4. Our room was right over the restaurant/bar which stays open late. We couldn’t open our windows because of all the noise and cigarette smoke that would fill our room. And there’s no a/c so it got stuffy. The fan they provide helped a little. But the noise could be heard even with the windows shut. 5. The bedding had stains on it. Everything just felt unclean in the room. 6. There’s a phone literally hanging on the wall above your head behind the bed lol. It kept falling off and hitting us during the night. So ridiculous! Take it down! All in all we wouldn’t stay here again. Glad we were there only one night.
