The complex is above and the East bank of the river. Although there was no view from our house, it was ideally situated being only 2-3 minutes drive from the town centre. There is ample parking space with easy access to our house. Lovely shrubs dividing adjacent apartments both from each other but from the communal paths. Clothes washing and drying facilities are excellent. Would definitely want to stay thee again. The few staff we met, especially Deborah and Lea were extremely polite , well mannered, knowledgeable and helpful.

On arrival, having picked up our key from a lock-box, it took us some time to find our apartment. A location map would hve been very helpful.

Location. Just 5 mins walk to the river and the town center.

The beds were a bit hard. Also the sauna is only open until 7PM.

Great House, weak management

The Hotel Résidence Goélia Le Domaine de Pont-Aven is located in a quiet, very beautiful spot on a hill above the town of Pont Aven. The rooms are exceptionally beautifully furnished, and the nights are so quiet that you can sleep with the windows open. The bed linen is first class, as are the beds. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It's worth noting that you have to make your own beds. (!) You are also told that on the last day, you have to take the bed linen down to the laundry room in the basement. The typical French petit déjeuner breakfast is really small and consists of pastries, jam, yoghurt and butter. No cheese, no ham, no eggs, nothing. And it costs a whopping €13 per person. If you want new towels after seven days, you have to pay for them.

It's worth noting that you have to make your own beds. (!) You are also told that on the last day, you have to take the bed linen down to the laundry room in the basement. Quiet location close to Pont Aven

The residence is very well located. It's in a quiet area surrounded by trees and with private parking. It's only a 10-minute walk from Pont Aven, which is a lovely town with plenty of shops and restaurants. If you have mobility difficulties, the walk involves about 90 steps, but there is a slightly longer route by road. The staff are very helpful and you can talk in English, if you prefer. However, pay attention to the reception opening hours because they are limited. Our apartment was very clean and quiet.

The residence has good-sized grounds, but they could be made more attractive for guests, for example, by providing seating and sun loungers in the garden area.

To the Management You have a real problem. You need more staff, more competencies. W-LAN, … You have a location in a 4**** standard and a service like in a youth hostel (or less). Close it and start again. Or change the business (e.g. Crêperie?)

Good for a couple of days stay

We asked for a room with outside space and ended up with an apartment. It was spacious and clean inside with secure entrance gates. Close to Pont Aven town down some steep steps

The apartment was ok, although very slightly unwelcoming with all brown colours and metal doors. The outside space could have been more inviting a with grass cut and furniture cleaner. The front of the apartment was full of weeds and in need of some attention…. Some flowers would be a nice touch

Hill top Hotel with a good pool

It was good value for money and the staff were very helpful. Food was very good although breakfast a little limited

The shortcut to the village was down a very steep hill with rustic steps and no handrail. The walk down the road was better but a very steep climb coming back up. The hotel lacked any sort of atmosphere. After dinner we would have liked a drink in the bar but it was all locked up and no staff were there at 9pm.

Superb hotel complex for a relaxing holiday in the area.

Lovely secluded location but near enough to the town to be able to walk there. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Restaurant was superb, including food and staff. Very welcoming and friendly staff in the hotel. Nice pool and facilities. All Covid safety measures in place.

No WiFi at our room at all, signal is to bad and room could use a upgrade. (Old) Carpeting on the floor and we could smell neighbors smoking at their own room inside our room. Looks like this smoke/smell comes in by ventilation system.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and tidy and contained everything we needed (except for a clothes horse). The location was magnificent. The property felt very secure.

No WiFi connection at the swimming pool. The terrasse was very small. Too small to be useable and no privacy. Maybe a clothes horse would have been very useful.

Superb

Very nice hotel, which is walking distance from the lovely center of Pont-Aven village , although it is connected by stairs (going by car is an alternative but parking in the center is difficult). The structure is modern and functional but well integrated in the countryside. Our room was big enough and with all the necessary amenities. Staff very friendly

Nice apartment, good location

Nice spacious 2 double bedroom apt. Quiet location, still only few mins walk to the busy village centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was good. There is a lot to do in & around Pont Aven.

Note that our apartment only had small patio. Swimming pool more suitable for small children (accompanied by parents).

Un séjour tranquille

La proximité avec le centre ville, l'accueil par le personnel et sa bienveillance tout au long du séjour et leurs conseils de balade, le fait de pouvoir prendre ses repas dans l'appartement compte tenu de tout l'équipement jusqu'au lave-vaisselle, même le produit vaisselle est fourni. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux en sucré. La période automnale est calme avec peu de touristes donc moins de bruit. Cela favorise le repos.

La couette est un peu juste pour un lit de 180, la baignoire au lieu de la douche. Le petit-déjeuner se compose uniquement de produits sucrés. L'accès au centre ville mériterait d'être éclairé par des leds pour le soir et plus sécurisé avec une rambarde. C'est un peu glissant à l'automne.

L’appartement agréable il manque juste quelques produits pour faire le m’engage avant de partir et egalement un produit vaisselle serait parfait .

Pas de vestiaire pour la piscine et douche obligatoire froide aucune eau chaude . Température le la piscine 25 un peu juste . Côté bain à remous pas tout les jours actif .
