Excellent house and host, excellent food and great location.

This was an old very charming house/mansion well built and completely renovated that offered great comfort in the very spacious rooms. I particularly enjoyed the host, the owner of this beautiful mansion, Catherine, who made our stay particularly heart-warming with her excellent food. I addition to breakfast we had dinner at her house because we wanted to have a very special meal as we were celebrating 3 birthdays that day. Catherine made it very festive and impressive with her own outstanding recipes. If we will pass again through Blois we will not hesitate to stay there again. Catherine, thank you again for having us!

Exceptional

Our stay at Catherine's house was pure perfection! Amazing house renovated very tastefully in every detail, very large suite with comfortable bed, chairs and very convenient private entrance/exit out into the courtyard. Catherine is a very generous hostess, she prepared cook-to-order eggs for every breakfast, introduced us to various local breads, yogurts and cheeses, serving a different variety every day. Catherine made us feel as the most welcome guests in her house, truly a spectacular experience! House is located right next to Blois, Chambord and Cheverny which proved to be the best location for exploring eastern part of the Loire Valley.

Great location for visiting the "chateaux" north and around Blois. Very good breakfast too.

A bathroom door, as opposed to the existing curtain, would be a great and necessary addition to the upper room/suite.

Beautiful house with a friendly hostess

We had a lovely stay at this cosy B&B with my husband and our son in August. Catherine is very pleasant, attentive and kind hostess. Her house is beautifully decorated, she has good taste, and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect base to explore the local attractions, close to Blois town and some famous castles. Catherine can also advise on good restaurants and boulangerie in the area. We were also able to have our own lunch in her nice garden, that was very convenient. Overall it felt like we stayed at the house of a good acquaintance and received a warm welcome. Highly recommend this place.

A truly local stay

Catherine is a great host and was extremely welcoming, making us feel at home: we had our (delicious and regional) meals together and she told us all about the region's attractions. Her artistic home is filled with small treasures that she gladly shares with her guests - books, paintings, a piano, etc. - and the garden is lovely (we were able to have dinner outside). Our room was large and super comfy. The bed matress and linen were great and the baby cot provided was a great help for tired parents :) The bathroom was modern and had all comodities you could wish for. We'll surely come back and recommend to friends and family.

The rooms was accessible via a narrow, unprotected staircase (on the first floor), so consider this when travelling heavy. Also, the room had a floor to ceiling window without bars, so pay attention when travelling with small kids - maybe book the larger room. The bathroom was divided from the room by a curtain, so there wasn't much privacy and

Our stay at Catherine's was exceptional! Our accommodations were beautiful comfortable and extremely spacious. Our dinner and breakfast were prepared by Catherine during our stayi, she and a friend joined us for dinner, Catherine joined us for breakfast. The menu the wonderfully Feench and beautifully prepared. Our conversations were lively, fun and priceless. Full emersion in French at home szocializing. Merci Catherine!

Beautiful medieval house recently renovated by the owner, Catherine, with exquisite taste. Conveniently located for visits to Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Blois, with free parking place in the courtyard. Catherine provides her guests with a delicious breakfast and good conversation.

Catherine is a wonderful host You are instantly not a client but a new friend who has come to visit Her kitchen is yours, her friendly conversation if you want it is available as is a welcoming glass of wine The 1st floor accommodation is like an apartment, two huge rooms, a generous bathroom with all the accouterments, and free access to her kitchen If you are tired at the end of the day she will prepare you a small plate for your supper And breakfast includes the best coffee you could want and, in my case, pain-grille and orange cake! Outside my room is a table for 2 or a little to the right is table for 8 if you want outdoor dining or just a glass of wine in the shade. You will not go wrong with Catherine as your host. Historic venue with a modern look

It's a magical place. Starting from a historic old building which is being restored, finishing with a lovely host and an amazing room to stay at. We stayed there for a night with our 7 months old baby and it was safe and comfortable for us - the facility had a baby bed available. We really enjoyed the joint breakfast with our lovely host.

Heerlijk verblijf in goede gastvrijheid!

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf gedurende een week bij gastvrouw Catherine. De B&B ligt in een rustige wijk en betreft een voormalige aspergeboerderij. De kamer op de begane grond is erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hadden een eigen ingang en een terras om heerlijk buiten te zitten. Bovendien parkeermogelijkheid op het terrein. We hebben vooral genoten van de gastvrijheid van Catherine, die elke morgen een heerlijk ontbijt serveerde en naar wens veel tips gaf. Perfecte plek om een aantal kastelen en de stad Blois per fiets te bezoeken!

Wat een voortreffelijke locatie om te vertoeven. Prachtig huis, leuke tuin en heel veel rust. Grote woonkamer tot beschikking met een moderne douche, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk geslapen in alle rust. Catherine is een onderhoudende, zeer geinteresseerde host. Geeft goede adviezen en weet veel. Prima ontbijt!. Zeer gezellige plek om te verblijven. Wij denken met heel veel plezier terug aan ons verblijf bij Catherine.

Un accueil d'exception dans une magnifique demeure ! Parfait !

La closerie des Laudières est beaucoup plus qu'une chambre d'hôte, c'est un havre de tranquillité ! L'accueil de Catherine y est pour beaucoup. Sa gentillesse, son sens du contact et la qualité de son accueil vous mettrons tout de suite à l'aise. La maison a énormément de charme et dégage de bonnes ondes, on s'y sent tout de suite très bien. La chambre est tout simplement magnifique : grande, élégamment décorée et très propre, avec une literie de qualité dans laquelle on rejoint très vite Morphée. La salle de bain quant à elle est moderne, confortable et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner pris en commun avec Catherine et les autres voyageurs sont de purs moments de convivialité et de partage. Et quel petit déjeuner ! Tout y est succulent (mention spéciale pour les confitures !). Nous reviendrons à coup sûr visiter les châteaux de la Loire, et à coup sûr nous reviendrons à la closerie des Laudières :) Encore un immense merci pour cet accueil !
