The staff was very friendly, it was clean, but the beds were very poor/ bad / too soft and too low for an older person . Also the shower: if you are a big person you can't enter the shower

Convenient location to all of the Castles around Ambois and Blois. Hotel room was small but clean. The room would be fine for a 1 to 2 nights stay. Owners were very attentive and helpful. Definitely service oriented. Parking was plentiful as it was the low season and the parking spot was not tight, properly spaced for a regular 4 door sedan vehicle. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the Castles in this region of the Loire Valley.

Convenient location to all of the Castles around Ambois and Blois. Hotel room was small but clean. The room would be fine for a 1 to 2 nights stay. Owners were very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the Castles in this region of the Loire Valley.

Stayed here for a long weekend to visit Cheverny and Blois Chateau's. The hotel looks a little dated but the owner and family were very hospitable and friendly, their professionalism and helpfulness were brilliant. The rooms were small, but the bed and shower were incredible - the comfortable bed was excellent, and the hot, powerful shower was better than several at high price new hotels. Also, there was very little noise, and an excellent wi-fi signal. (need to sign in everyday though). My partner was able to borrow a new hairdryer from reception and we used the microwave in the reception area on a few occasions - there is a retail park with a supermarket close by (and also several restaurants). We stayed for breakfast on our last morning and it was good value with several items to select from. This is definitely one hotel not to judge by its appearance - we would be happy to stay again.

My son and I spent 4 nights here in July 2018. A ‘no frills’ hotel which provides a good base for exploring Blois and the Loire region. Continental breakfast available for a v reasonable rate (€6). The proprietors are lovely, so helpful and friendly.
