Although a nice adequate room and the hotel beautifully placed next to the bridge over the river after a long day on the bike the noise levels around the property were very loud with what appeared to be boy racers speeding over the bridge all through the night ( not the hotels fault)

Wish Hotels.com would tell you what you’ve booked, I had thought I had a river view but apparently not. The hotel has no lift and a lot of stairs if you are on the top. The room was very basic. It was hot so the provided fan was on constant. Parking isn’t that easy and had to scour back roads. Great location for Blois however which is lovely.

The hotel is very conveniently located, across the bridge from historical downtown. The rooms are upstairs (without elevator). As the hotel is run together with the restaurant downstairs, check is provided in the restaurant and staff works there as well.

The walls are very thin and it's easy to hear the conversations of people in the hallway and room next door. The bathroom and shower were very clean. The sheets on the bed were clean, but the blankets seemed like they hadn't been washed in a while. Also there were a bunch of small dead bugs (like fruit flies) around the window panes. The staff was very friendly. For the price, I would stay there again.

Like somebody said before, the comfort is basic, but sufficient. When you go up the stairs to go to your room it feels a bit shabby but so what? The room is clean, the people are very nice, and the location is pretty much ideal, accross the river from the castle, all that for a very nice price. We recommend it.

This is a very basic, no-frills hotel: just a room with beds and a small bathroom. It was clean on arrival, but no further cleaning was done (even though it clearly needed it!), although beds were made and trash emptied each day. The wifi did not work very well, especially upstairs in the rooms. But it was cheap, the location was good, and the view from the nice big windows was great!
