Very small rooms very basic The zinc is inside the bedroom the Inc next to your bed. I know for the type of hostel is what you should expect but its the closest to be in a jail cell the bed so hard that is was imposible to sleep and they no give extra blankets or pillows.

Nice place right off the freeway. Good stay. Only complaint was the bed. Hard as a rock, and it squeeked hard like a donkey every time you moved. It was so loud and kept us awake much of the night. Staff were great and very helpful. I think we just got the bad room/bed. We would stay there again.

The room was very small but comfortable enough. However, the cleaning lady was VERY disrespectful and rude. We left the notice saying “do not disturb” and she came into the room and cleaned the room without our permission. She touched our personal stuff, which was very disrespectful. The breakfast was minimalist but ok for the price.

The staff at this location were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. However, there was no soundproofing for the hallway whatsoever. I got woken up by people at 1AM, 5AM, and 7AM nearly every day for the whole week that I spent there. I had the room with the two separated beds and the beds were pretty small so not the most comfortable to sleep in. The TV was small and outdated. The AC wasn't working as apparently the whole building was set to 24°C even though it was already 18°C outside, so I was sweating in bed every night from the heat and couldn't open the window because people were being loud outside and smoking at all times of night. We then had a cold night so I wanted heat from the AC unit but it wouldn't heat up at all. Other than that everything went perfectly well. The shower was nice and very clean with really good lighting, the toilet was in a separate little cubicle and was very clean. The breakfast buffet was really good for the price (8€), the indoor dining area was nice and clean, although pretty loud at times, and the terrace was nice, clean, and calm. For roughly 50€ a night you really can't go wrong, although this hotel seems like it's more appropriate for only a one or two night stay. Even then I don't regret having stayed here a week as it is a really good hub in a small town to visit the chateaus of La Loire.

Very economical place to stay in the Loire Valley. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower had fantastic water pressure. Wifi was a little weak. Lots of plugins. We arrived late at about 8:45pm and that was no problem. The doors are controlled with a 6 digit code, so the place is equipped for late arrivals. Ordered the pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good it was.

Great experience staying at First Inn Hotel Blois. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff upon arrival. The room is air conditioned and very clean, calm and quiet surrounding. Price is reasonable for summer and location closed to Blois city center (5 min by car). Free on site parking is especially practical.

Excellent hotel for one night stop in our way from UK down to south of France. Clean, all you need to rest. Easy to find, calm location, close to a restaurant. Staff were so kind and helpful with a relaxed and efficient attitude, very professional. 24h check in with self check in after 22h, using a machine at the front door. Excellent value for money.We could hear people talking next door though- sound proof could be better in second floor.Good breakfast, family atmosphere. Excellent hygiene measures during COVID-19. Will definately come back.

A basic hotel (you get what you pay for), but it was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are small, but sufficient. There is plenty of parking , which is always a plus point. A good hotel for a few nights.

The location is not the best "for myself" as I try to be more in the center of towns so that I can easily walk from the hotel into town; however, the hotel is really not far from town (by car), has some restaurants nearby, and one big advantage is that it has parking - for free. And the area was very quiet - great for sleep! My room was a decent size for myself, and would be acceptable for 2 people. It was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was functional, with a separate WC which would make it much more comfortable for 2 people to share the room. Water was very hot - a huge plus! WIFI worked, though fairly slowly. Service was very friendly and accommodating. I requested two cups of hot water for tea - no problem, and they came with a smile!

And also I ask hot water, she said I can get it at reception area, however reception area is closed at 9:30pm. We booked each night separately except the last 2 - so we could try to find something different but most everywhere was full. If you pay 40€ or less per night you may not feel too badly but the beds are not comfortable- we had 4 different beds so we know- the room is extremely tight- absolutely no privacy between 2 people - toilet area may as well be in the middle of the room. The front desk closes after 9:30 - so if you need towels or help you’re out of luck until he next day. Our 3rd night we came in later and didn’t notice the sink and shower had leaking issues - all towels were soaked and obviously from water stains it was an ongoing problem. When we told them about it they pretended to not know but clearly they did- and put us in the room anyway. They offered breakfast free for one day as consideration- which is easily the worst breakfast you’ll ever find in France. Don’t stay unless you have zero options. There is more like small black flies and body hair on sheets and beds - pretty bad. Overall we had ONE acceptable night out of 5.

As 2-star hotels go, this is one of the best I’ve stayed in. No frills but a clean and quiet place to get rested. Reception was great and offered to store my bicycle in a secure area.
