Property was well situated for getting around Blois and surrounding areas. Disappointed on arrival after a long journey we couldn't have an evening meal as we were told we hadn't booked half board. Having said that the menu was rather poor we were directed to a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was ok.

Blois proved to be an excellent ad hoc stay on our way back to the UK after a2 week holiday in Provence. The hotel selected on value for money was a good choice. The hotel was full and exceptionally busy yet the staff were friendly, cheerful and unflappable dealing with customers with patience. The evening meal in the restaurant was equally busy and the staff were rushed off their fee but retained their smiles but inevitably service was slow but the food was acceptable.

Staff were polite and helpful. We ate in the restaurant of the hotel and although the menu choices were limited the food was fine. Access from the motorway was good - this was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.

There is nothing near the hotel, so if you do not wish to drive inside the city and find parking, the only choice of restaurant was the Hotel restaurant. The steak was sooooo hard that it was impossible to chew. 5 of us ordered the steak but none could finish half of the dish. Overall bad experience. Only good thing is price of the hotel is relatively cheaper.

We stay at our hotel minimally, but this Ibis is like so many others, predictably clean and adequate. The ventilation system worked well, the breakfast while not included (as usual) was good with plenty of protein, and the staff was reasonably accommodating. We will go back to the Loire Valley again and Blois is a great area to stay in and we may stay here again or perhaps next time well try Air B and B if we want a room that has more room?

Good Value for Money. Friendly and welcoming reception. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Excellent breakfast with quality products on offer. Property in good tidy condition. Secure parking with gate to property closed at night, being accessable by intercom with reception. Some may find the bathroom and room a little compact, but don't let this deter you.
