Cool and crazy!

Location is great in a bustling part of Naples, and very close to the old city. The historic building is impressive. Rooftop breakfast was a nice start to the day. Patricia, our receptionist/host, was very welcoming, although communication was only in our poor Italian, as she does not speak English. (Not her fault, we were in her country!)
Wifi was frustratingly poor. Guests should be made very aware of the fact there is no lift. Walking up the stairs with suitcases is a struggle, and in our case, our "bedroom" area was up another set of stairs from the common area. Not sure if we were just unlucky, or if all bedroom areas required a further climb!

Stunning looking building l was impressed by the standard and sympathy of the conversion to create the rooms. The kitchen facilities were particularly useful. The housekeeper was welcoming and helpful and the wonders of technology solved any language problems.
It is an inherent and unavoidable "price' when choosing the Palace that clients need to be physically able to carry their baggage up 10 flights of stairs. Some more, clearer, signage would be helpful
