Guildford Cottage

The property was amazing! Super clean, spacious and perfect for a larger family. We absolutely loved the added kids space, and having fun games to play and books to read was such a lovely bonus along with the kids cutlery and plates . We also really enjoyed having a larger table to entertain while the family came over for game night. This property is truly as good as it gets. It’s close to all the important spots, with the local coffee shop just a short 15 minute walk away and even the cows at the end of the street 😀. Check-in and check-out were simple and easy, making it completely stress-free. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again when in Port Fairy.

Maybe a bigger bin in the kitchen area and some bug spray as the bugs near the front door were insane from the porch lights being on. I fear in summer the house would be to hot with no aircons.

Very clean, comfortable and close to the centre of town.

I didn't find it a problem but maybe people expect wi-fi.

Great location, able to walk everywhere.

One of the sofas is totally unsuitable. It's so uncomfortable and the cushions are way too deep for a normal person to be able to sit comfortably.

Great location, lovely little house that's well presented, save for a few aged/tatty elements. Can walk into town easily.

Shower water pressure - the shower water is virtually non-existent. Not sure what's going on, however my entire family felt this was a deal breaker for a sea-port destination. After swimming/surfing at the beach, a non-existent trickle just doesn't cut it. So bad that I couldn't wash hair after a run. We would recommend this property, if this was addressed. The front blinds are ripped and mouldy - these should really be replaced as brings down the property, not to mention the obvious health issues of mould in a house. This really should be addressed ASAP.
