Fantastic location

Beautiful building and location. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was excellent whether served in room or on the terrace. Loved our stay in Cannobio.

Although the room was beautiful, it was a little tricky getting luggage up and down the spiral staircase! The fabulous lake views weren't easy to see from the attic windows. Shower not the best.

The ultimate place to be!

The hospitality of the 2 sisters Claudia and Alexandra, the passion they have for the villa and the way they restored it and decorated it: a boutique experience! Every detail had been thought through. The rooms were large, very clean and the bathroom and shower were perfect. The beds were excellent and extra large! And let’s not forget the breakfast: extensive and well cared for with a lot of local cheeses and organic dried meats. In short: the best hotel experience in years!

Glorious stay guaranteed!

The hotel is beautifully and loving restored keeping many of the traditional features. It's really like staying in someone's home more than a hotel. Our third floor room had a lovely little balcony with a glorious view of lake and mountain as well as some beautiful buildings. The location was excellent right by a small grassed area with access to the lake for swimming and sun bathing. It's a short walk to the centre, the promenade, restaurants, bars and shops. The two sisters who run the hotel could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with homemade cake, local cheeses, chutneys, fruit and more. Would definitely recommend if you can get in as I know the hotel is very popular and rightly so!

Everything was excellent but did suggest stronger tea for those who enjoy the traditional British cuppa!

Der Kurzurlaub in der Villa Maria war sehr erholsam. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder einmal hierher.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, täglich andere Produkte nebst dem Standardangebot. Zu Fuss ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum. Das Boutique Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Balkon war gut ausgestattet mit Esstisch und Liegestühlen. Die Aussicht direkt am See ein Traum.

Todo excelente: la atención, la limpieza y la calidez del personal. Aunque nuestra habitación no estaba disponible, nos dieron una de lujo sin costo. Detalles como los chocolates de cortesía hicieron la diferencia. ¡Nos sentimos realmente mimados! 💜

Magnifique établissement au bord du lac Majeur. Calme, confortable, proche du centre du village, garage privé, petit déjeuner délicieux, chambre 5 exceptionnelle avec grand balcon, personnel attentionné, tout fut parfait. Merci.

Charmantes Hotel ruhig und doch Nahe im Zentrum (Piazza Cannobio) mit Sicht auf Lago Maggiore.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Service. Die Zimmer sind sauber und mit Balkon. Wir hatten seitlichen Seeblick, war ok, aber direkter Seeblick wäre optimal und zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – gerne wieder!

Parkplatz nicht direkt vor dem Hotel - habe im Nachhinen gelesen, dass man dies hätte reservieren können - wurde uns nicht angeboten. War etwas schwierig täglich einen Parkplatz zu finden (Juli). Alles andere aber ganz einfach perfekt.
