Fantastic!

It was a 15th century Monastery renovated into a stunning hotel in a great location. Our rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, comfy and large. The concierge was so helpful in assisting us with dining suggestions, securing a taxi as well as helping to take our bags to the taxi location. She truly went above and beyond. Breakfast was included and the best I've ever had during my many travels. The dining room was visually stunning. I can't say enough, it was fantastic! I highly recommend Hotel Pironi in the stunning location of Cannobio.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about this Hotel and certainly nothing negative about the condition or service we received.

The Pironi Hotel is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Cannobio and Lake Maggiore.

The Pironi Hotel is a delightful 12 room hotel in Cannobio, Italy. It is very conveniently located, just a 3 minute walk from the ferry landing. The hotel building is an old monastery, but It has been very tastefully redesigned. Our room was furnished with antiques that fit the style of the original structure, yet the bathroom was modernized with an excellent shower and lots of amenities such as robes, a hair dryer and toiletries. The room also had a lovely balcony with a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. It was a delightful spot to share a glass of wine and see the sunset colors on the water. A delicious breakfast is included in the price of the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning cappuccinos along with fruit, pastries and meats and cheeses. The staff at the hotel was also very helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they suggested a lovely restaurant with fantastic food in a lovely garden setting. It was the perfect spot for intimate celebration. Cannobio is a charming town worth visiting on Lake Maggiore. The winding cobblestone streets and beautiful promenade make it a joy to explore. There are also several hiking trails to enjoy in the hills above Cannobio, along with beaches on a river and the lake where you can take a swim. We truly enjoyed our visit to Cannobio and our stay at the Pironi was the perfect place to stay.

The fan in our bathroom was extremely loud. I unplugged it when I wasn’t using the shower.

Beautiful period property in a great location.

The location is central in Cannobio and the cobbled streets around are beautiful. The renovation to the property is stunning whilst keeping original features, frescos, fireplace, lovely to walk around. Free parking a couple of streets away which is easy to find. Breakfast is lovely in a beautiful room. Staff were really helpful.

A wonderful stay in beautiful Cannobio!

The location of the hotel is great, so close to the restaurants and shops. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and catered well for gluten free guests. It was wonderful to be able to have a swim too. The parking setup was very handy as we had driven there.

The bed for a couple wasn’t as comfortable as a single mattress. The steps to the 2nd floor bathroom were too squeaky and resulted in us waking each other up.

Enormously charming modern palazzo in town center!

Amazing location, feels like you are staying in a palazzo but with modern standards. Roomy rooms with a beautiful bedroom. Good beds, airconditioning if necessary, minibar. The breakfast is a must, since you eat in the most beautiful breakfast room with a complete buffet. Also, you have a cozy lounge at your disposal if you want to relax. For a small surplus cost, you can also book a closed garage for your car in a easy to reach location.

magical…..from the moment we stepped through the door and back in history, to the delightful breakfasts and late nights

where to start! whether it be the location (1 min from the lake and shoreline restaurants) to the hotel itself; which is absolutely stupendous. A fantastically old, tastefully modernised building, with cheerful, helpful staff. what is there not to like. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to my closest friends and family!!
