Lovely short stay in a comfortable cottage, would like to return sometime.

Clean, plenty of space and quiet location. Cottage was equipped with everything we needed.Both bedrooms had en-suites.

Downstairs bathroom was an added bonus, but always seemed cold, (would have liked to have had a soak in the bath but too cold)

We had a perfect stay in the Highlands

The lodge was modern, clean and comfortable. There was lots of space with one en-suite shower room and a separate bathroom. It was very peaceful and perfect for walking our dogs.

We liked everything about the property. Nothing to dislike.

Highland Peace & Quite

The location was exceptional set in an rural location, surrounded by open countryside and woodlands, wildlife abound. The accommodation was extremely well appointed and very comfortable, with all the required Mod-Cons. We have loved to have stayed much longer, would not hesitate to re-visit and would highly recommend to others.

The directions provided to the accommodation were very confusing, offering directions to the two accommodation options within the one message and the host did not respond to telephone calls and messages for clarification. If people are staying in the cottages then direct them to the cottages and if people are staying at the farmhouse direct them to the farmhouse, don't combine the instructions.

Everything good! If you look for an accommodation nearby, you should check Highland Estate!

Just a moment away from a main road and some of the cities lies the Estate. The surroundings is very quiet and green, good for taking a walk. House is pretty modern, bathroom big and kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms were tidy and cozy, located on the first floor. Door was open when we arrived and keys waiting for us. There is also a small playground and an outdoor table just outside the houses so you can drink your morning coffee and breath fresh air!

Great location, great environment. Get well rested for the rest of your journey

We loved the nice area with lots of nature in the area. The house was cool. Wifi was excellent. Parking spacious and free. It was really quiet and we relaxed a lot due to this.

You need to go down with the stairs to reach the toilet. If you are less mobile that could be a problem as was the case with my wife. The diner table is a little bit awkwardly positioned if you eat with four. All chairs are on the same side. You have to move the furniture for that.

Beautiful stay with very helpful owners

Property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Great location- peaceful but only a short drive away from shops/takeaways/restaurants. Spacious properties, allowed to accommodate our big family. Everyone really enjoyed their time away. Would recommend Heathfield to anyone!

Country living close to the city

Amazing setting, super easy check-in. It was great to be in the country yet still only 40 minutes to Inverness. The space was very clean and was perfect for our family. The forest walk and other walking paths were an added bonus.

Highly recommended, clean, spacious and well equipped.

Excellent stay at the two properties, Heathfield House and Kindeace Farmhouse. Really clean, well equipped and spacious. The play park at Heathfield House was a bonus for the children. It was calving season at the farmhouse so the children enjoyed looking at the new baby calves. Would highly recommend and hopefully we can stay again in the future.

Amazing stay at the cottage once again. This is our fourth visit and it never ever disappoints! Beautiful location, very clean and tidy cottage and it is a great size for the four of us plus our dog. Everything we needed was there and the tea/coffee provided on arrival was most welcome! Fresh eggs available using the wee honesty box on the corner from the croft up the road were fabulous (please buy these instead of from the supermarket! They may be slightly more expensive but there really is no comparison!) This was not our first stay here and it definitely won't be our last. Already looking forward to next year!

Nothing - this place is amazing and pretty much perfect. Sadly we didn't manage to catch any fish in the wee loch this time, but I guess that is why it is called fishing and not catching ;)

Country Cottage stay with beautiful views

The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was great with lovely views. The log burner was a real treat with unlimited access to re-stock. Tea, sugar and milk for a well-needed cuppa on arrival. Added touches were provided for items you may forget while self-catering. Everything available that is necessary for an old cottage stay in the country.

The only criticisms were from things that couldn't be fixed immediately - The showers need to be more powerful and some maintenance is required on the shower door. The drainage on the lower floor bathrooms / en-suites needed to be covered to stop the odour. Tumble dryer was available but couldn't find the brown shed.

The whole house was a plesure to stay at and even had a christmas tree wich set the mood.. was realy well set up and warm and homely . Would recomend and stay again 🙂

Lovely break with kids

A beautiful spot, lovely scenery and walks on the doorstep. Perfect for recording the area. Directions were great, and cottage fully equipped to be a home away from home. Lots of space to make ourselves comfortable. Shops etc all within easy reach with the car, and so much to see and do in the area. Would love to come back.

We would definitely day again.

The cottage was very spacious. There was one huge king side bed. The two singles were quite narrow and really best suited for children. It was warm and in a lovely quiet location right off the beaten track. There was a lovely climbing frame for children .It was very good value.

A trivial complaint but there was only one dishwasher tablet provided and it would have been nice to have been left one for each day. The cottage is quite isolated so I would recommend printing out the instructions to find it as when we put the post code in our sat nav and gògle maps it took us to a different location.
