The Space:

This charming cottage boasts three spacious bedrooms: two on the second floor and one on the first floor.


Each bedroom features top-quality, customizable beds that can be arranged as a Super king or Twin for your preference.


* Must let us know how you would like your beds arranged before arrival, otherwise they will be set as doubles.


The ground floor hosts a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bath, along with a well-appointed kitchen and an extra toilet for convenience.

Enjoy relaxation in the comfortable sitting room and the inviting conservatory, complete with a dining table. Step outside to the enclosed garden, complete with a sitting area and a barbecue for delightful outdoor events.


Guest Access:

To find our listing, take the B9176 Struie road. Look out for a wooden sign with white writing that reads "Dublin Woods". If you're approaching from Alness or Evanton, simply make the second left turn after the junction to Alness. We can't wait to welcome you!


The Neighborhood:

The neighbourhood offers serene tranquillity, coupled with breath taking views and an abundance of opportunities for walks, hikes, and cycling adventures right at your doorstep.


Explore hills, follow the winding river, or visit the nearby dam for a new experience each day. The cottage is nestled on a peaceful single street within a close-knit community, with a charming church at the road's end. This exact church was featured in the successful BBC's The Traitors TV Show with Claudia Winkleman.


For a touch of local flavour, a distillery is conveniently nearby. Just a short, 5-mile drive takes you to Alness High Street, where you'll find ample options including large supermarkets and a diverse array of local shops.


Getting Around:

Here are the directions and travel options for reaching Mike's Cottage:


For guests driving from the South:

- Take a left off the A9 onto the B9176 Struie road. Follow this road until you cross a small bridge and take the second left turn towards Dublin woods.

If you're travelling from Inverness:

- Option 1: Take the train or bus to Alness and then a taxi to Mike's Cottage, Ardross.

- Option 2 (from Inverness Airport): Catch a train to Inverness, then another to Alness, and finally, take a taxi to Mike's Cottage, Ardross.

Additionally, we may offer an airport transfer service. Please reach out to us before your arrival.

    We had a great stay at Mike's cottage. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped and there is a lovely outdoor seating area which we were able to enjoy as the sun shone all three days. Information about local walks and things to do in the area would have been useful.
