Impeccably furnished space, relaxing environment, amazing view, great food. Yup, book it if it’s available!

Our room and the balcony were fabulous! The whole house is stunning, not to mention the outside space. The owner is fun and informative and makes a great breakfast, cooked to order. We’ve traveled a lot and seriously, this is the most perfect lodging we’ve probably ever booked. So yes, I guess that’s a 10 out of 10!

The location was amazing as was the lovely lodge. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning with good produce. It was only a short stroll into town. The host was very friendly and I have to mention her gorgeous cat Sadie. I even tried birdwatching on this break.

It is an ideal location for relaxation & quiet reflection. Siobhan is an excellent host. Her personal touch is reflected in the high standard of everything. Accommodation, cleanliness and breakfast.

In the midst of a too-aggressive vacation itinerary, the Seafort provided peace, rest, and comfort.

Clean, attractive, and comfortable accommodations. Delicious Irish breakfast, adaptable to tastes. The beautiful and peaceful Bantry Bay lapping at the property’s edge is therapeutic. But the best feature is the proprietress. More than great company, Siobhan addressed all our crises of transportation, telecommunication, and subsequent accommodation, making calls personally. Beyond providing excellent recommendations on places to dine, shop, and visit, she even spent an entire day driving us to remote garden spots and stunning mountain vistas that we dared not attempt to reach ourselves. She became our Irish friend.

Fantastic lodge, great location, and a wonderful host

I was here for a wedding, and I had brought my suit in a bag. The host Siobhan ironed the suit for me, gave me lifts down the road into town, provided a water pouch for my jog, rubber shoes for swimming outside in the bay, and even gave me a helpful breakfast after breakfast hours (ends 10am) when I had overslept due to arriving back from the wedding at 4am. It was beyond my expectation. The lodge is fantastic, the views from the balcony on Kingfisher were stunning, the sort of place to have a coffee and look out. Siobhan is the best host of any lodge/airbnb I have ever been to. It's a shame I only stayed for 2 nights because I would have loved to have spent more time in Bantry, especially swimming in that bay with clear water.

This is a wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful place. It is absolutely spotless and the bedrooms are beautiful. Breakfast was excellent - home made and fresh. The location could not be better. The house is right on the shore of Bantry Bay. On our last night we sat out under the pergola, a couple of steps from the bay. Siobhán, the host is fantastic, and so friendly.

We had a lovely few days iin this beautiful luxurious guesthouse. Siobhan was a lovely host welcoming, informative and cooked a fab breakfast. The house and rooms were stunning, looking out over Bantry Bay. We enjoyed kayaking which was a bonus, thanks Siobhan . We would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful retreat.
