Helpful staff, good clean rooms, very comfortable stay. Rooms were air-conditioned. Vegan food was excellent. Morning prayers were calming and peaceful.
Only one morning prayer was there that we could join. We were hoping to get some evening prayer of ritual as well.

Definitely THE best temple in Koyasan! Great location for the village and temple complex. The staff are fabulous, so helpful! The breakfast and dinner meals are included, served beautifully, and offer incredible taste! The rooms are lovely as is the overall environment. Wonderful stay.

We will never forget this extraordinary opportunity to stay in a real monastery in this sacred place. A temple experience is not going to be a good fit for everyone but, for us, perfect. The kindness and consideration of the staff is unforgettable. The vegan food is delicious and served in a comfortable dining hall. Our room had a private bath area and a garden view. The jewel of the stay, for me, was the morning meditation, with the priest, in the temple.
We were very satisfied with the property.

We really liked the accommodation, the food (dinner and breakfast) and the location.
We found it very pricey. Also we didn’t like that you have to pay extra for a meditation hour and to get a tour of the monastery and history of Mt. Koyasan…. We only pay for the meditation, but for the price we paid for night it could have been included…
