OMG This was AMAZING. Staying in an actual Buddhist temple with staff and monks taking care of our needs and food. Property is beautiful, the staff amazing, the vegetarian food delicious and would for sure stay again.

Wow! The garden landscaping was amazing. The rooms were unexpectedly large and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The opportunities for attending ceremonies, copying scrolls, etc made the stay memorable. The temple was walking distance to town.
It was quite expensive but a great experience for the money.

We really liked the accommodation, the food (dinner and breakfast) and the location.
We found it very pricey. Also we didn’t like that you have to pay extra for a meditation hour and to get a tour of the monastery and history of Mt. Koyasan…. We only pay for the meditation, but for the price we paid for night it could have been included…
