Palacio Apartments Madrid Temporal

The host is terrific; great communication throughout the entire process. He even met us at the apartment to go over all the details, provided a city map marking many of the city's attractions, and handed us the keys directly. The apartment is centrally located to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Close to metro and downtown. Bed was very comfortable as well as the sofa. Apartment has a dining table, and a good size kitchen will all the amenities, microwave, coffee maker, hot water machine, full-size refrigerator, and washing machine. Host even provided a few pods for the washing machine.

Just a few drawbacks; the bathroom needs a deep cleaning, especially the shower area; and the apartment needs sprucing up with a coat of paint. No fault of the host, but the walls are very thin, and you can hear the neighbors and their tv. In the bathroom, you can also hear the water from some of the other apartments as it passes through the pipes.

The apartment was very close walking distance to all the major attractions & to many great restaurants. Our host, Nikolas, was helpful in explaining our location & surrounding areas.

The mattress & pillows were very soft.

It was in a great location and the customer service was very good. We were treated at the time of arrival and treated very nicely. They provided us with a lot of recommendations as well.

Apartment very close to the metro, supermarket nearby, both rooms had aircon which was nice. Lift in building so no need to climb the stairs. Bed was comfy and extra blankets and pillows were available. Washing machine was a plus too (but no detergent). Couch was comfy too.

Hot water came out of shower head as a dribble, and then cold water would come out as a burst, couldn't have a proper shower as temperature was really tricky to get right. And even when it was right, it was only a dribble. Apartment was on first floor, proximity to the street meant we heard people at night, garbage trucks and sirens. Not recommended if you're a light sleeper.
