Great location for a long weekends

Lovely cottage and great location in the centre of Richmond. Free parking in the square which was a bonus.

The interior looks a bit dated and it could do with a facelift.

Great location , cottage was adequate but need some tlc!!

Warm , comfy bed , location view from bedroom window . The storage heaters did their job , just a nice background temp , probably because it was cooler weather ! Shower was great and good to have two toilets

Outside looked very shabby , not good kerb appeal . Front door / threshold needs attention banister rail needs attention, kitchen units look tired

Ok , for a short visit

Well placed within Richmond . . Comfortable beds .

No toiletries except handwash at the sinks . This is unusual at this price point , would have expected shower wash or soap . No milk for a cup of tea on arrival . The electric towel rail was on all when we arrived and throughout our stay .

The whole house needs decorating. Very basic accommodation. Large bedroom but no wardrobe to hang clothes second bedroom had a wardrobe but only 2 hangers for 4 aduts.The bedding was not fresh and smelling stale. I have stayed in better with just as much of a great location for less money. Disappointed.

Lovely cozy character house in excellent central location

The location waa excellent, so handy for all amenities and right next to the castle. It was quiet at night though. It waa very good having the garage due to all the disc parking. I have a suzuki swift and it fitted fine.

Location was great, with view of the tower. Central to Richmond. Garage a good addition but not for larger vehicles.

The back door was locked with no key, which gave us concerns relating to the fire escape.

Property was nice and comfortable and was in an exceptional position for the town centre and the event that we were attending

Lack of wardrobe in double room and drawers were sticking and couldn’t open them as I recently had surgery on my hand Also there is lack of cupboards to store our groceries in.

The location was perfect. Just off the market square and adjacent to Richmond Castle.

Though the cottage was comfortable it could do with a real good clean. We would have cleaned it up ourselves but lacking any purposeful cleaning products.

Great weekend in a lovely property

Tower Street is a great location in Richmond. Very central, right on the doorsteps of many amenities. Nice property, great location & well equipped. Property benefits a garage which was a bonus as on-street parking near the property is restricted to 2 hours. I drive a Suzuki S-Cross which fitted into the garage and no issues getting in or out.

The property was too warm. Electric storage heaters had been on which made the home very stuffy, and even with the output turned down and the windows open it took ages to reach a satisfactory temperature.

the fridge was small and the freezer tiny. It was struggling to keep things cool. possibly needs defrosted or updating.

The location, ease of access and comfort of the cottage. I was impressed with the garage which saved us money and hassle parking. Kitchen was well equipped and towels provided were white and fluffy

Fantastic location, walking distance to bars, pubs, restaurants, castle, museums, river. Very clean and great communication with the owner.

The parking situation could have been made more clear. The property has a garage that fits a small car. There are disks available for disk parking also available.

I rang the contact phone numbers numerous times in the 48 hours prior to the reservation and received answering machine responses. I also left messages with my phone number but received no response and no key box code. I arrived at the property there was no representative there and again I got an answering machine response. Only after contacting Sykes cottages and waiting for them to contact the owner did the owner send me an email with the key box code. Waiting in a kind neighbors house for an hour.

The location was excellent. The views from the bedrooms were lovely. The beds were really comfortable. The host was really communicative. The garage fitted our small car perfectly.

Great to be central to the town. Kitchen had everything you needed. Downstairs bathroom is lovely.

There was no wardrobe in the very large master bedroom. The bedroom door opens on to the sink, a stopper would help. The outside of the property needs tidying up.

Great location. Lovely little cottage. Parking ,managed to get an Audi Q3 in garage.

Heating still needs sorting out as mentioned by a previous review. It comes on through the night then goes cold early evening.
