This was THE most perfect place to stay during our 2 week stay in Ireland.

This Bed & breakfast checked ALL the boxes! There was nothing missed at all. It was only a few minutes walk down into lively Killarney. The room was well-equipped & spacious, and was the only place we stayed during our Ireland trip that offered enough space for a woman to put toiletries & makeup! The whole place was clean, comfortable, no old shabby furniture, and no weird smells. The breakfast was lovely, with a staff that took care of every detail, not to mention, they were ALL VERY helpful & friendly! I can't say enough about the owners, Ann & Donal; they were immensely helpful as tour guides, giving us information, not only in Killarney, but for the rest of our tour around Ireland. This place was better than any hotel, and we would love to go back. Ken & Sue Mc.

Great location for exploring Killarney!

My husband and I spent one night at the Kingfisher Lodge. The staff made us feel at home immediately. The location is within a 5 minute walk to Killarney town center. The accommodations were as pictured - clean, comfortable, and great selection for breakfast. Great stay! Highly recommend!

Don't miss this one

If you're headed to Killarney don't miss this one. Kingfisher Lodge is the place to stay. The rooms are huge, very tidy and clean. Orla welcomed us and had us checked in in a flash. We also got some great tips on things to do. Ample parking and some really cool spots in the garden to just sit and chill. Walking distance to town and more places to eat than you can poke a stick at.

Breakfast was lovely - nice to be able to eat in each morning. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. An easy stroll down to the main centre of town for dinner each night. We extended our stay for a third night as we enjoyed it so much.

A very nice hotel in Killarney. It is located in a quiet location, within walking distance from the town centre. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing.

Warm and personable service, great location, nice facilities.

We received warm, personable service, as if we were being welcomed as a guest into a home. The location was within walking distance of downtown, which is excellent. There was also parking, which was helpful. The breakfast was a cold breakfast, but there was wonderful variety with homemade foods. We enjoyed it a lot.

We arrived a little early into the city and, not knowing what to expect, we went to the property to see about having our luggage stored or early check-in. We arrived to a locked door, which was a little disconcerting at first, but the owner soon welcomed us in. Future travellers should know to work around early check-in.

Great Location Within Walking Distance of Town with Comfy Beds

Everything was as advertised or better here. The bed and breakfast is family owned, and they offered some great advice on where to go during our stay to get the most out of it. I would recommend Ross Castle for a sunset :)

Kingfisher is a great location for walking to downtown Killarney and has friendly, informative host. The breakfast is good.

The breakfast didn't start until 8am. We would have preferred eating a little earlier in the morning to start our day around 7am. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

I got there way too early because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get through the streets on St. Patrick's Day. Against my expectations, my room was already ready. The room was totally nice and cozy, very bright, very neat and very clean. The breakfast room was also very nice and the breakfast was really delicious. The parking lot is free of charge. And you are within 5min in the city center (walking).
