The service, the room, the overall cleanliness, the beds, the restaurant, breakfast, the location and how quiet it was at night.

Very clean bedroom and bathroom, there was just some dirt on one of the walls along the ceiling; bugs caught in cobwebs or perhaps mold.

Overall, a great experience.

The staff are outstanding, both in the hotel and at the restaurant. The breakfasts were great, good options and lots of attention from our staff. My colleague and I were blown away by our dinner at the restaurant. Both our dishes were FANTASTIC!!!! The travel sacks were an unbelievably nice touch on our flying day! Thank you to all.

It’s cozy and right in the place! Everything is in walking distance and I was given the private key for my bike to store!

As it was a short time stay and also I didn’t use much what was given but I had no single reason to complain!

Good location in old town, breakfast room (10 Euros extra), polite and obliging host.

Our room was very big and spacious. The location is very good at the center of Kleve. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was simple but good. We have the chance to eat at the restorant of the hotel and the meny was various and the plates tasteful. I will go again and strongly recommend it.

unprofessional

I was lost in the train to reach Kleve I ride the train from 9am till 11:30pm I called the hotel at 6pm tell them that I am lost and will be late to arrive, they never said that they leave the keys in a code box in front of the hotel, then I kept calling them about 9pm till 11pm no one answered when I reached the hotel after a very hard long day lost in the train and I am a ( diabetes) and need a place to sleep and rest, I found the doors closed , I kept searching for another hotel in the area to spend the night all was full so I spent my night in the streets I went in the morning to ask them for my money they refused to pay back my money although it’s their fault and mistake that they DIDNOT tell about the key box and didn’t reply my calls even my mother sent them an email they replied her the next day after I spent my night in the streets very unprofessional from them

The beds weren’t comfortable. The curtains were way too short for the windows and they were yellow so the bright Sun woke us up at 6 am. Not sure why they can’t invest in larger, darker curtains. We didn’t sleep because of the noise, either drunk people walking home, the market set up at 6 am, or the church bells from 8 am. They need to invest in better quality windows because or this. Do not recommend if you want a good nights sleep. I also didn’t think it was worth 89 eur for the night

Decent hotel, value for money

Large room and well lit, plenty of space to sit or work. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Hotel is located on the shopping district, easy to reach and not much traffic around.

Curtains didn't block any sunlight so prepare for early mornings (in the summer time). Old school interior from 1970's and isolation so you will hear everything from the street, throughout the night. And the nearby church reminds of its existence at 8am (although this is expected, nevertheless feels early to some ;)

Exceptional

Great stay at an amazing little hotel. The rooms were more than enough, very comfortable and spacious. A little retro but that was a good thing! The customer service was amazing, we arrived at almost 9:30 PM right before the restaurant closed - and the staff let us check in that late as well as order food from the restaurant to be prepared while we showered up (we had biked here), and have our food waiting for us when we came down at 10 PM. Couldn't ask for better service, food or beer!
