Lovely old fashioned b&b, nice big rooms and comfortable bed. Location was great, right in the heart of catania, although was noisy early morning due to the daily market being set up.Paolo our host was great, very helpful and informative. Only negative was the number of stairs to the room, quite hard going after a day walking round town.

The property is very charming and very clean.
The bed was very comfortable so we were able to have a good night sleep, it is also in the heart of the city center so very easy to move around and explore.
Another great point is that the parking is super close and it’s not as expensive as we’re used to.
The staff is so friendly and helpful and were understanding for all of our requests.

The location is brilliant. The amazing Fera O' Luni market is literally on the doorstep and Via Etnea, Giardini Bellini and Piazza del Duomo are just around the corner.
Paolo's recommendations for restaurants and drinks and nightlife areas were really good and appreciated.
Breakfast was mediocre at best and not worth having given you can eat a high quality inexpensive breakfast in so many places locally.
The toilet paper is of dreadful quality...very light and falls apart.
I appreciate it's an old building and the decor style is quite quaint, but nonetheless, it wasn't as clean as I'm used to - the bathroom was very grubby.
Overall, it was more expensive than other places I've stayed in that were of a higher cleanliness standard.
