Great location, just a few minutes from the city center! The host was incredibly kind and understanding - they let us leave our luggage at the property until the evening after check-out, which was super helpful. Thank you

On the downside, I didn't realize when I booked that the bathroom is shared, so that was a bit of a shock for us. Also, there is a market every morning right in front of the building, which was quite noisy. Overall a decent stay for the location and the kind host.

Location is nice. Room has a nice balcony where we watched the great mountaion of Etna erupting. Keep your head up so you will not see the - not very clean - local market. Do not get me wrong, local markets are great to visit but not to live next to them. There is a nice common kitchen with a fridge that could be useful sometimes. The owner was nice to allow us a 1-hour early check-in.

We had a room that looks to a very noisy and dirty square.There is a daily market that starts 5 a.m and at night loud music past midnight. Cleaning starts at very early morning so hard to get enough sleep. We accidentally lost the building key in the very wide gap of the elevator, we informed the owner honestly and she asked us to pay 10€..fair? Maybe, but definately not the nicest thing. The elevator itself is old as it can be,mostly not coming due to people leaving the doors open. The location is nice but the very street of the building's door is a bit ... wonky.
