Functional for work stay but not chosen for pure leisure

Very affordable option for airbnb style hotel. Very well furnished and has good interior design

Spiders all over the ceiling laying eggs and dropping baby spiders across the pillow area. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time as there is a spider infestation in bathroom and bed area. Clean surfaces but hidden areas very dusty and neglected. I accidentally sat in the garden area one afternoon without knowing it wasn’t part of the “bnb” and the white old owner whispered me to “fuck off”. She seems a bit confused about her own place in this business and whether she really wants to rent her rooms out…

Comfy home away from home.

This was my perfect location, comfortable and spacious studio, home away from home - calm, peaceful and stylish interior, with a beautiful garden space too; safe parking, easy access to shops, leisure activities and tourism related points of interest.

Absolutely fine as I only really needed a bed for the night.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Very useful to have a kitchen and washing machine and comfortable chairs to watch TV.

I was disappointed not to have been put in a garden room which is what I thought I had booked. The room I was in had a large, frosted window to the front (car park and main road) and only a very high slit window to the side so I couldn't see (or sit) outside. The breakfast was OK but not very exciting. I didn't ask, but alternatives to porridge and bananas would have been nice.

Great accommodation very comfortable and good location

The accommodation was really good, clean, nice comfortable bed. I was able to park on the road outside. The location was ideal for me and it was handy having a Lidl and fish and chip shop within walking distance.

The room was spacious had all facilities we needed and more, the kitchen was well equipped and the table and chairs were very good.Outside there was a lovely garden area which would be great to use in the summer. The breakfast was lovely freshly replaced and exceeded our expectations The hosts were friendly and helpful We really enjoyed our stay thank you

Excellent. Worth the money

Excellent place, own private entrance, a little kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and toaster. Bed really comfortable and easy walking distance to takeaways, Lidl or a pub.

It's not a complaint, but the heating is attached to the main house so (as I get up early) the room is cold in the morning. I'd suggest maybe a little electric fan heater.

Meg was amazing, breakfast provided everyday. The place itself is very clean and comfortable, felt at home straightaway. Location is perfect, has a supermarket and a few stores next door which is perfect.

With heating issue sorted and enough hot water for the bath would stay again

The kitchen facility is good for reheating of chips from the chip shop etc, the bed is comfortable, WIFI good. Milk & cereal and orange juice provided in the room whilst the guest is out during the day ready for the next morning.

Room heating not on when woke at 07:30 to change and head to training centre, when returned before 16:30 room heating not on. Informed the heating comes only come on at 16:30, circa 17:00 before semblance of heat though still chilly. The radiator was on setting 5 max and hot but room still chilly. Hot tap on bath ran out of hot water on a few occasions.

The kitchen area.

The heating system turned off at 10 pm until 7 am, then off again from 10 am until 4 pm. The room was very cold all nifght and during the day. The owner told me she could not afford to put the heater more than that and that it wasn't a hotel.

Would definitely recommend and return for another stay.

For my money I expected a lot less than what I found. The room was extremely well appointed, a lovely comfortable bed, plenty of places to sit down and relax, other than the bed, I had 2 armchairs and a small dining table. It was just a nice place to be. There is ample parking and plenty of amenities locally, the kitchen is well appointed aswell.

I did find the temperature to be a bit on the warm side one evening but that was sorted with opening skylight.

Breakfast was basic but quality goods, but there was plenty of space and opportunity to make your own if you wanted to. Location was good for me.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay and I will stay here again

The breakfast was very good. It is nice and quiet so good for business travellers. Comfortable bed and the small kitchen area was good for preparing simple meals.
