Brief but good

We only had one night, but staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very apologetic that the pool was unavailable. Good breakfast and the hotel was spotless. Easy walk to and from the bus station which is what we needed. Thank you.

A good, clean, budget hotel less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. A few good local restaurants close by where you don't have to pay town prices.

The pool can be very busy with swimming classes and clubs so it's not always that easy to get access. Some building work being done across the road so got a bit noisy at time. Though no fault of the hotel.

I notified them of a late checkin 11.30pm but doors were locked and no-one had emailed me the pin entry number I had trouble with shower , the water was cold or scolding hot Building works next door started at 8.00 , piledriver was a bit noisy at breakfast Lots of excessive rubbish around bins at the entrance to the carpark

A good simple hotel in a good location. I would stay here again.

A good location, a short walk from the bus/train station but close to the town centre as well. Easy to find. The room was fine and was quiet. Bathroom was well appointed. Nice buffet breakfast with a little bit of variation each morning. We didn't try the 50 metre swimming pool. A point to note is that the places to eat and drink in the old bazaar area are mediocre and overpriced. There are better places close to the hotel in the opposite direction that have better food and are less crowded.

It's a minor thing but we were taken by surprise on the last morning to find that check out was at 10 and not, as we had assumed, 11. We were still drinking tea in the dining room at 9.55 when the receptionist came to remind us to move.

It was excellent. I would like to thank the gentlemen at front desk for everything that he made our stay in Skopje very comfortable. He speaks excellent English and explained everything about hotel policy and answered all the questions we asked. Also, breakfast was very good with rich selections.

We liked very much. If we come to Skopje , we would stay again.

It is quite old and they use boilers for hot water. Also the building looks like a warehouse from outside.

The location is quiet and in the center, and there is a huge Olympic pool. The breakfast is good.

Access to a pool was great and generally everything was as it should have been. The staff were very friendly especially the chief Sveti who accommodated my vegan dietary requirements so well - thank you 😊

Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. It's very nice having a fridge in the room and the pool next door is fantastic.

It is ok for a short stay. The girl at the reception was super polite, kind and helpful. The bathroom was nice.

The "hotel" actually is a part of the really old sports centre, hence probably the name "Hotel Centar". When I arrived i thought i was at the wrong address cause i didn't see a hotel. The room was weird, the windows are too high, you could tell it was not a regular hotel room. The bed too soft, it feels like you fell into a hole. The breakfast was low quality. I felt i paid too much for this "experience".

Loved the swimming pool. Staff was very helpful and nice, offering us coffee and arranging transport to the airport for us (cost: 25€). Very happy the air conditioning worked well when it was close to 40°C outside in summer.
