By far the best hostel, in Skopje!

Hostel Central Skopje was by far the best hostel of the three places I stayed at during my visit. The owner, Zoran, is a fantastic host who truly knows how to make the place feel like a home away from home. He is a literal encyclopedia of knowledge regarding Skopje and Macedonia in general, and he is more than happy to share his insights with guests. The rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. Plus, there are lockers available to keep your luggage and belongings secure. If you book more than one night, a towel is included in the price. It’s true that there is only one bathroom, so you might have to wait occasionally, but I never found it to be an issue during my stay. If I ever return to Skopje, I will undoubtedly stay with Zoran again! 🙌

There was nothing I didn't like about this place. However, I would like to make one recommendation: curtains for the beds. This small and simple upgrade would put the hostel in a league of its own, far above the competition.

The 12-person hostel only has one toilet and bathroom. This is a bit of a bad situation. Since I went in winter, it was cold. The heaters weren't working, so I was freezing at home.

Perfect stay

First of all i want to thank to Zoran for his amazing hospitality, i really felt myself at home, he provided me every help&info i needed. It was amazing stay. The hostel is very centrally located, it's an apartment which is converted to hostel. Very quite and comfortable. You will have fully equipped kitchen, 24 hours hot water and clean&comfortable beds. Every attraction is in walking distance.

Perfect place to stay in Skopje

I came to this hostel after having to abruptly leave another one due to alarming conditions. And now I regret not choosing this place in the first place. The owner is so friendly, sincere and helpful. He even let me check in early and did not even mention it (but I realized it and want to thank him). The hostel is comfy, extremely clean (I really mean it, no exagerations at all) and fresh. Super good location, literally has a tiny mall in which you can find almost everything you need. The kitchen has complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, salt and oils which seem like a small thing but actually are not, especially for people who will stay for a short time but want to cook without paying for full-sized products. The staff is also very gentle, informative, friendly and helpful. Yes, this hotel is just a tiny tiny bit higher in price among its competitors, but believe me, it deserves to be chosen over the others as the amenities and conditions make up for far more than the slight price difference. Do not make the mistake I did selecting a slightly cheaper place and spend your valuable time in Skopje in dissatisfactory places. Choose this place!

-Location is good, right next to a huge shopping mall/grocery store, also close to bus stops -This is a 2-bedroom apartment converted to a hostel o there’s max 8 people at a time -Kitchen is functional and common area is good enough -Owner is friendly and provides useful info and guide

-You might have to wait for toilet & bath since there’s only one, but still okay

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Central Skopje. I found the place very nice, comfortable and sparkling clean, it has this at home kind of feeling. The owner and the other staff were welcoming, accommodating, very friendly and extraordinarily helpful. I would without hesitation stay there should I go to Skopje again.

Perfect for short time in Skopje

Owner. So nice, funny and helpful. Now I am repeating his jokes to my family. Hostel is just one small apartment with just 2 rooms, bathroom, kitchen, massive common space and balcony so you feel like at home with international family. Location - literally 5 min to bus station, in front of shopping mall (great if you forgot something and don’t want pay tourist charge on sunscreen, extremely cheap and tasty eatery), just 15 min to Old Bazaar. Hostel like service - you can leave bags before and after check-in, you can do laundry, has locker for staff, gets best budget tips.

The owners are wonderful, so warm and welcoming. The bedrooms and common areas are all comfortable with everything you need. Location is perfect for onward travel being right near the bus station. It’s a really lovely hostel that is well looked after and has you feeling like you’re visiting with old friends!

Extremely nice host, very bubbly talkative guy that welcomes you warmly and gives you good advice. Speaks fluent English and is very accomodating. Hostel is new and modern. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and also brand new. Balcony. Great location - close to bus station but also relatively easy to get to center. Perfect for short stays in Skopje. Rooms have shutters, loved that, and it was also really quiet. The bigger room felt spacious. Host provided me with sheets to make up for the lack of curtains, that'll arrive soon :) beds have little lights and outlets

The only thing I'd criticize is that the bathroom was really dirty, especially the toilet. It should be deep cleaned and cleaned daily and a bath mat would be great. I still give 10/10 because apart from that the stay was perfect

nejlepší hostel, ve kterém jsem kdy byl neskutečně přátelský a ochotný hostitel výbava kuchyně (lednička, mikrovlnka, sporák, haldy příborů, skleniček a veškerého vybavení) zadarmo wifi jenom dva pokoje, opravdu komorní čistý záchod i sprcha!! dobrá lokalita, od centra pár minut chůzí, zároveň naproti hypermarketu uzavíratelná schránka, nemusíte si vozit zámek nevrzající a pohodlné postele

v pokoji bylo trochu dusno, takže je třeba větrat, ale to je detail

Es un hostel súper limpio, confortable, con la calefacción siempre puesta, todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia. Te dan toalla gratis. Está al lado de la estación de bus por lo que me fue genial ya que el primer día llegué muy tarde por la noche. Y al centro estás en solo 10-15 minutos caminando

Nettes Hostel in guter Lage, direkt neben einem Einkaufszentrum und man kann schnell zum zentralen Busbahnhof oder ins Zentrum laufen. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und Hilfsbereit.

Es gibt nur ein Badezimmer für insgesamt maximal 12 Gäste, das ist definitiv zu wenig.

Ich habe es gut gefunden und konnte schon vor der Check-In Zeit kommen. Das Personal war freundlich und hat gute Tipps gegeben.

Es war nicht sehr sauber im Zimmer (schaut besser nicht unter's Bett) und im Bad. Das eine Badezimmer ist auch zu wenig bei voller Belegung. Richtig nervig war die späte Abreise einer Frau, die lauthals vom Personal begleitet wurde, die Tür aufgerissen, Licht an und keine Rücksicht auf bereits schlafende Gäste genommen wurde.

Sehr netter Host, tolle Lage direkt beim Busbahnhof, ins Zentrum nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Alles sauber, Zimmer gut ausgestattet und Betten sehr bequem.

Leichte Probleme mit dem Warmwasser in der Dusche.
