A comfortable, quiet base for the Vatican end of Rome. Very convenient with everything we needed.
This is an old property with no lift, so you have to be able to manage some stairs

Location! Short walking distance to the Vatican! Lots of eating places upon going out.
The stairs! Had to carry heavy luggage to the top floor.

Proximity to the places that we wanted to visit. The host was helpful and was prompt to reply to our questions.
The shower area is a bit crowded. People with bigger structure may find it hard fit in the area.

The location was exceptional
The rooms were very dark and dated and it wasn’t what I expected. The air con did not work and it was extremely hot. The room was passable for sleeping in, not for going back after a busy day to relax. I couldn’t wait to get out of the room.
