The stuff is sweet, helpful, kind, flexible, so friendly that you feel really welcomed. They clean every day the community bathroom, offer room service (as cleaning), helping you with city recommendations and maps and do their absolute best to feel safe, comfortable, 5*! Location pretty good, easy to reach from the Hauptbahnhof by walk, supermarkets, restaurants nearby, also easy to reach the center by walk.

1) Unfortunately there is no fridge nor in the rooms, nor in the community place, which at summer time makes really difficult to buy any groceries or even drinks. 2) Small upgrade recommendation for the bathroom: anti slippery on the shower cabin floor and some little hanger, shelf into the shower to leave your clothes and shower gel, shampoo while showering would come really handy. It is not the hosts fault!!! 3) The street is extremely noisy, when windows are shut - the 10m2 room for two person lacks of oxygen and heats up super fast, but when it is open horribly noisy. In every 2-3 hours a drunk man is shouting on the street, trashbins are opened-closed-opened-closed, street renovation just right at the corner, city trash truck comes at 7am as well with horrible volume. Last but not least, that is also not the hosts fault: many guests are smashing the doors, stealing forgotten shower gels, or not flush toilets after themself.

Wonderful stay! Maria was amazing, so friendly and helpful, as was the co-owner(?). They went above & beyond with my early arrival and bag dropoff, suggesting great places for me to see and to eat in town. The room was great, clean and set up well. I used the desk and wifi for work (wifi was mostly stable in my room). Plenty of storage for my things. Bed was comfortable, room was sunny and there's a nice window for fresh air. I love having a sink in the room when there's a shared bathroom-very convenient. The shared bathroom was always clean. Location is great, walkable to everything,.including the city center/river. Very near the famous Schumacher brewery and well as a ton of delicious asian restaurants. I'd stay here again!

My room was on the 5th floor and there isn't an elevator. Not a problem for me, and the listing does say upper floors (where the rooms are) are accessible by stairs only, but it's important to know!

Everything was pretty nice. The host, room, bathroom, all of it really. Location was amazing, super accessible and great food options

Comfort was lacking a little. Pillow was uncomfortable, mattress isn't well cushioned.

Maria is an excellent host and the location is great and the price is cheap

Extremely uncomfortable beds with the pillows in particular the worst I've ever seen in a hotel providing a bad night's sleep. The building is very old and given there is no amenity and the bathroom is shared, it is not worth the €10-15 saving.
