Lovely place to stay.

Such a lovely place. Really enjoyed our stay and the owner is lovely and helpful. They have some pet goats too which was nice.

Not far from the town but bit of a hill for anyone with mobility issues. Had to leave at 7.30am and breakfast didn't start till 8 so that was a bit of a shame as breakfast included and reviews say that breakfast is very nice. Don't hesitate to stay here though as it's a lovely historic place.

Beautiful old property in extensive grounds. Hosts were friendly and helpful. A large and comfortable bedroom and a delicious French breakfast, what more can you ask for!

Charming B&B

We booked this because of its location - the B&B, basically one of those mini-chateaux you see everywhere, is tucked away in its own grounds near the railway station. It was very quiet and the city centre is about 15 minute walk (down a lot of steps). The house itself has been decorated really nicely and Madame does a lovely breakfast which included home-made cake. There's a very friendly dog as well. If you don't mind a healthy walk up and down the steps (it's not as bad as it sounds) it's worth staying a night or two.

As this is an old building that has been re-purposed there are some niggles with the heating (we were there in a cold snap at the end of September and it was quite nippy in the night), the TV was an old model and not all the lights worked in the bedroom. Also the front door key was a nightmare - quite difficult to turn. But most of this is outweighed by the charm of the place and its location.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely room in an atttractive manor house and large garden. Very quiet. At the top of a hill, very close to Morlaix station (which is also at the top of the hill). A steep climb up from the town centre, but there is a frequent daytime bus which links the centre and the station. Morlaix is an beautiful town and well worth visiting.

A very warm welcome from the host and her crazy dog would definitely stay again fabulous location

I had booked this as a surprise for my husband’s 60th birthday he was very sceptical where we were staying until we turned the corner into the avenue of trees. We had a fabulous time an absolutely beautiful place to stay, wonderful host, lovely breakfast and a perfect location within walking distant for an evening meal.

The accommodation was stunning. Conveniently close walk to the town - although not for the elderly or infirm as the accommodation is on a hill. The host is a lovely lady - very friendly and welcoming. We were leaving early on Sunday morning to get the ferry home and she got up early and provided some breakfast for us.

Delightful historical property on the edge o0f Morlaix. Delphine is a lovely lady who speaks good English and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

If you are not fleet of foot the walk down and up to/from the old town and port would prove extremely tiring. You would need to use your car.

Great B&B.

This is a slightly quirky place but we loved it. The unusual 19th century house has high ceiling, large rooms. It is beautifully appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linen lovely. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful and kindly spoke English for our benefit. The breakfasts were good and a wider variety was available on request. We would certainly go back.

The house is on the hill a few hundred yards from the town centre and it is quite a climb. We were cycling so did not have a car option. But the walk did us good.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Morlaix and its environs.

We all loved the Manoir. The building is beautiful (very clean. traditionally furnished) and Delphine is a delightful host. Our ferry to Roscoff was delayed (I did let her know) but she was gracious and charming when we arrived late. We had one huge room with a shower ensuite and one good-sized room with a huge bath (+ shower) in the ensuite. The breakfasts were delicious (fruit, yogurt, cereal, baguette, croissants, jams, cake) + eggs from their own chickens if you wanted. Extensive grounds and woods.

My only minor negative is that the mattress cover was lined with plastic. I understand why, but I find it very uncomfortable so I stripped the bed and removed the mattress cover, replacing it when we left.

Utterly Unique: you won't forget a stay here!

This is a truly different place! A gothic manor that is more than a little like a location for a scary movie. But the whole place is beautifully kept and restored, We were only there for one short night, with a dawn departure but would have loved stay longer to enjoy the hospitality. Great value as well.

I don't really have any negatives; unless you are of a nervous disposition with a vivid imagination!

Hidden gem

We were the only guests (much less visitors due to covid19), and because of that the landlady allowed us to eat in the dining room rather than in our room. So kind and thoughtful. And such a treat after being cooped up for a year!

The room was very bright, which is lovely, but it couldn't be darkened for the night (or rather the morning). That was truly the only downside to this lovely stay.

Tons of character and would definitely rebook if in the area again.

Beautiful property and very friendly owners. I have seen some comments critical of the cleanliness and the people but that was not our experience. Gorgeous room, comfy bed and a short walk into town (but beware it is uphill/steps most of the way back!).

It didn't matter to us but there was a jar of cereal on the breakfast table but no milk. No doubt some would have been provided if we had asked. It did NOT make an iota of difference to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
