Private beach with Beautiful Sunsets-Kids Bedroom & Entertainment room

This was our first time to Bethany Beach. The beach is gorgeous and is just a short walk from the house. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. We enjoyed Matt's Fish Camp right next door and other restaurants aren't far away.The master bedroom was very noisy all night long from traffic on the main road. We only used the grill once since it is not in very good shape. It would be nice if there were a few cleaning items like a sponge and a spray for kitchen clean up and also trash bags.

The house is beautiful and is fully equipped for your stay. Can't wait to go back next year.

The location is excellent. A short walk to the beach and to a local kid friendly restaurant. The beach is beautiful. Easy access to shopping outlets. House is spacious and easily accommodated 11guests ranging in ages from infant to seniors.

My standards are high but this property was a disappointment. Mattress covers and bed coverings had blood and food stains and required washing. Washer and dryer needed sand cleaned out of them. Didn't want to sit on the couches due to stains and filth. Propane tank for gas grill was inoperable but was replaced the next day. However, you expect to be able to cook when you pay high prices. Upper balcony had a picket missing which is a safety hazard for children. Several vertical blinds were missing letting in sunlight at sunrise and the rod in one room fell off when we opened the blinds. Outdoor shower filled with debris and placement of hose caused sand to be tracked in the house. Carpet on steps was very dirty. Had to buy a pan for cooking as pans were not in good shape. Spent valuable vacation time cleaning and being frustrated. Owner did send maintenance after contacted but he was over and hour later than we were told. Maintenance did have to clean clogged tub and sink drains. It is a beach house, but this property was very disappointing for the cost.
