Our stay was very comfortable

Alessia was a wonderful host. She always went out of her way for any needs we had.Nothing was too much trouble for her.

The only issue was that we needed to catch a bus to the ski slopes. Usually this is not an issue but the bus was not frequent enough

Good place for a ski trip

Very nice place. Appartments were rather spacious, well equipped and warm. Skibuss stop is very close. There is to little parking space, but managable. The highlight is definately a sauna in a separate hut, which is a perfect place to relax. Staff was really helpfull and nice. Overall a place to recommend.

Peace and solitude with easy access to the excitement of the Gardena mountain towns

Very quiet location up the mountain from the more energetic town of Selva di Val Gardena. We thoroughly enjoyed the additional space and quiet of the mountain location and enjoyed the ease in getting into any of the nearby towns when needed.

I recommend place and accommodation !

Very good communication before arriving. Alessia is very helpful person and always smiling. We had a great apartment at the attic with full equipment and nice view from balcony. The house is located on the main road but is nevertheless quiet. Only sometimes a rooster wakes us up in the morning :-). A great place for mountain bikers, going down a side-street ca. 2 km access to the Ciampinoi gondola or Dantercepies (access to trail arena Val Gardena or Sellaronda MTB tour), on site room for bicycles with equipment. Quite close to the passo Sella and passo Gardena.

The host got us room with kitchen and said if we want to use it it will cost 60 euro per day. Same amout, 60 euro I had discount from Booking. Only this was a bit strange, Overall stay was amazing.

Worst host ever!!!

The room was spacious and warm

We arrived at 12 of April (out of season), around 5 pm and the village was empty including residence merk. We were the only clients and no-one was at the reception for the check in. After 20 minutes of knocking doors etc a lady who didn't speak English came to us. Although while booking the place it was written that we will have the whole apartment (room with kitchen), the one that they gave us didn't have even mini fridge. We were trying to explain to her that we need the kitchen and the fridge because every restaurant was closed but she couldn't understand so she called the owner. He came ready for fight and before we were even able to explain to him what we want and try to figure out some solution he started to insult us. Words like: "I know what kind of clients you are" "here is Val Gardena, not the Greek Islands that you are begging the tourists to rent your room" and many more unspeakable rude words assisted with sarcastic laughs. We asked him to cancel the booking but he said that even if we cancel he wouldn't give our money back. He started yelling at the lady because before she told us that we can cancel with full refund. So to finish the story we asked him how much more he wants for the room with kitchen and he said 30€ per night for which we never got an invoice or something. Of course when I asked for the Sauna (which was included in the price) they started to laugh and talking between themselves in Italian. One night even they locked us out at minus degrees and we were ringing the bells 10 minutes to let us in. By far the worst experience and the worst person that we met in Italy!!

Skiing in the most beautiful mountains in the world

Residence Merk provided all that was needed for a fabulous ski holiday. Comfortable beds, shuttle or ski bus to the slopes. Sauna in the evening. Friendly proprietors.

very nice apartment to relax after skiing in high end skiing resort, you can make your own meal in the kitchen, the most fascinating thing was sauna house were you can lay down for max relaxation and recovery, i recomend 100% this apartment :)

Disappointing

The room was clean

Beds not comfortable Wasn't cleaned between the 2 nights we were there So we didn't have enough toiletries (shower soaps) No English speaker in the staff at all. The breakfast - we were told it would be ready at 8 am. No one was there and the door was locked. Eventually we managed to find the reception woman and an ok breakfast was ready at around 0830. No one in the reception even during the hours they write there is.

One of the best value stays in Val Gardena!

I loved the host and the staff of the property. I loved our little kitchenette. We cooked a meal there and had a wonderful time. And our favorite part was the lovely private sauna, heated by wood furnace!!

Great stay - nothing to complain!

We had a great stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the ski lifts was incredible and always on time. The rooms were nice, beds were good and the wellness very relaxing. Overall I'd very much recommend this location to others!
