Hotel Residence Moneglia

Perfect location, beautiful pool! 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants and bakery within 1 min. Floor 3 is updated and renovated in a modern design, floor 2 is a bit old and outdated but as we understood it the price was cheaper on this floor. We loved our stay here!

One thing to notice is that you are expected to do the dishes before check out otherwise you have to pay 25 euro, but the apartments dont have dish brushes nor dish soap. This little issue could easily be fixed by the hotel, just include this in the kitchen equipment for the guests!

This place was beyond our expectations. The location is second to none. It's a flat 5 minute direct walk right to a free public beach, with payable spots/chairs and umbrellas on either side. The pool and outdoor area are more beautiful than the photos. The beds were great. The staff lovely. The sea area itself was wonderful for people with children. Our 10 year old snorkeled all day and had the natural barrier of the rocks to keep him from being out too deep. However as a family we were still also able to go just past the barrier and enjoyed snorkeling in deeper water. The town felt safe, lively and happy, not wild. Great family atmosphere. It seemed most people on vacation there were Italians. The Tender Restaurant, just across the street from the beach, was fantastic.

1) the roads to get there were quite precarious. Enough so that we chose not to take any day trips because we didn't want to drive the roads again. - In the end that was a gift and gave us a most restful vacation. 2)As everyone else mentions the showers are difficult. We knew about this so I can't take any points off for it but I would say it was a little worse than I'd expected in that it felt a little dangerous. It's raised up a bit and the floor in the shower not only has the seat part but the other part is very small and not really flat. I think it would be impossible for older people and even my younger son also said he almost fell out while showering. I think if someone fell out they could break a limb because its so high.

Amazing pool area with tree shade. Short walk to the family friendly beach. We had take away pizza from the downstairs restaurant at the roof terrace, highly recommended for families :)

The kitchenette could have been better equipped, with a knife for example. No AC in our room, hot at night.

Die Bäder sind leider recht alt und mit älteren Sitzwannen ausgestattet. Man muss schon recht beweglich sein um einzusteigen und die Grösse naja.
