Stylish accommodation near the center of Moneglia

A beautiful, stylish apartment with spacious, bright rooms with balconies and nice views. The kitchen is equipped for heating food or making coffee/tea, and light snacks and water are also available. The breakfast included in the voucher is typically Italian, small, but we were very satisfied. The host, Kari, is also very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation is shared and close to the train tracks, but we didn't notice much noise, so it wasn't a big problem.

Fantastic stay in Moneglia

Had a fantastic stay at Primo Piano! The host was lovely and very helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained, with great amenities. There are two bathrooms shared between three rooms, which worked perfectly. The location is ideal right in town with plenty of places to eat just a stone’s throw away, close to the beach, and not too far to walk to the train station with backpacks. Would definitely stay again.

Only small suggestion would be to add an automatic light in the entryway by the stairs, as it can be dark when first coming in. We just used our phone lights, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Comfortable getaway

Perfectly located, clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were in good shape and always available. Communication with the host was great. I recommend staying here. Breakfast at the cafe was nice and the service there was great.

Great location, place and food.

The place and location were great. Breakfast at Il Centrale was decent, and the were always fresh fruits and yogurts in the kitchen to eat, also a fridge included. Kari was very receptive and the place was very clean daily.

Great one night stay

Well located in the old town of Moneglia. Well presented with nice decorative touches. The shared bathrooms were maintained to a high standard and the breakfast was yummy! I loved the balcony in my room too, overlooking the old town.

In the warmth of an Italian summer, the lack of air conditioning was a negative. I was surprised there wasn’t a TV in the room either.

Great apartment, location super, wonderful host

We booked 2 out of the 3 bedrooms in the apartment, which comes with 2 shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Worked fine sharing with the people renting the third room. Great location for the town and the beach - you can walk to the beach in 5 mins. Lovely apartment - clean, nicely furnished, spacious, bathrooms are modern and showers are great. Kitchen useful for preparing simple lunches (but no cooking allowed). Balcony handy for drying swimming things. Wonderful breakfast each morning with croissant, fruit, yoghurt, focaccia, cheese and coffee, prepared by Carrie, our friendly and helpful host.

Not the fault of the apartment but it was very hot when we were there - sometimes hard to sleep with no air conditioning. Each room had a fan which did help. My husband didn't find the bed too comfortable - it was a bit springy, but fine for a holiday rental.

Incredible stay and highly recommend

Loved everything! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and made us breakfast to have on our balcony. The location was fantastic with everything you need on your doorstep, including the beach. Moneglia is 100x better than Cinque Terre.

Shared bathroom among 3 close rooms Is an apartment of a building with 3 rooms and 2 bathroom and one small kitchen and is not specified on booking. Under a railway so have fun with the noise No AC. Really cold in the room during the night(april) The door of the rooms are very thin, as well the walls. You could hear the all conversation, no privacy. No TV, no fridge Poor and cheap breakfast, 1 house made coffe with a croissant. Really close to a church. The bell was ringing a lot.

Breakfast consisted of a voucher worth 3 euros for one capucchino and one croissant in a bar about 300 m from the accommodation. A bit stingy, I think! Overall, the accommodation is quite expensive for a room with shared bathroom and this poor breakfast.

Convenient location with helpful and friendly owner

This is quite a quirky apartment, our host was very attentive even though language was not easy as we did not speak Italian. The balcony was ideal for sitting out for 2 people to watch the world go by. The location for the town centre was excellent.

The location is right next to the train track, with noisy trains starting at 5am and going on until 11.

We really enjoyed our stay at Primo Piano. It is located very close to the beach, to restaurants and only 10 minutes to Moneglia trainstation. The room, the kitchen and the bath room were clean and Marta was simply the best. Such a friendly person! We would love to come back!

What memories are made of.

Where to start? With Martha and Gabriela of course. They add that X factor to the stay. Yes their B&B is spotlessly clean, in a great position with good facilities but it is the hosts who put the memories and the smiles in the stay. Moneglia is a lovely town and a great base from which to explore the Cinque Terre - and then escape the crowds. And did I mention that, on top of all that, it was great value for money? Visit and you will want to return

It was well located and the landlady was really nice

All facilities such as bathrooms and kitchen were shared and guest are not allowed to cook in the kitchen so what is the use ? Pillows were far to hard and too big.

This place is truly awesome. The location is just next to the beach and to the city centre. Loved the view from our balcony and Marta, the owner, is very welcoming. She makes you feel like you're home. Thank you!

You have to share the bathroom with other rooms, but when we were in the city, we were the only couple staying in this place so it was all right. :-)

Ottima posizione, abbiamo trovato la camera in ordine e pulita, così come i bagni.

Il soggiorno viene venduto come "camera con terrazza", ma si tratta di un balcone lungo e stretto, condiviso con gli ospiti delle altre camere senza alcun tipo di separazione. Insomma, di notte si dorme per forza con le finestre chiuse. Quelli che presumo siano i figli dell'host vivono al piano di sopra e purtroppo urlano e corrono tutto il tempo, anche nelle ore dove agli ospiti è richiesto di rispettare il silenzio. Aggiungo che la colazione inclusa nel prezzo è da riscattare in un bar fuori dalla struttura, la cui qualità lascia un po' a desiderare.
