Good location, spacious room but overall not good value for money

Spacious room, polite-helpful staff

There was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom coming from the waste. The shower curtain was too short, which caused water to escape from the tray and left the bathroom floor wet. Breakfast at La Scala was very basic and could be improved.

They need to improve their service at the hotel

The only positive thing about the property was the beach. La Scala Beach which is nice.

The furniture is uncanny and the bathroom … impossible to describe. The bathroom floor seems to be coated with something really weird that doesn’t necessarily allow it to be cleaned and disinfected. Considering I am pregnant, these details are pretty important to me. The drain in the shower was working 20% which is why water was running out of the shower into the bathroom. Our bed was very uncomfortable and loud at any move, our friends were lucky and apparently their bed was the only positive thing in all the promised “comfort”. And most importantly, in the hotel there is no restaurant, minibar or any other possibility where you can get a water or any snacks in case you are “hungry”. The “Hotel’s Restaurant is located at La Scala Beach and is open from 09:00 until 19:00. And this is the point where me and my friends wore shocked. Not even the hotel staff knew about this rules and he said that he thinks that in a couple of days, they will change the schedule. What in all the 5 days we stayed, didn’t changed. The comfort which is promised is actually missing …. The staff though very nice, even for any request I had, they had no solution.

Good experience

Our room was really big, all of them have terrace with table and chairs outside that it was pretty cool. The big plus its definetly La Scala beach just 50 meters ahead. Its really beautiful there and the breakfast it was good, we got everything we wanted.

That the place that we stayed didn't had any food or drinks, we needed always to go to La Scala or somewhere else, La Scala its not far away but its much better if you have this thing in the hotel that you are staying.

Very unpleasant experience, I would never stay again in this hotel.

The location of the hotel is very beautiful however you need to drive as the hotel located quite far from Limenas, , the hotel and the pool was looking nice however we were unable to use as was dirty with sand, the room was spacious and the view from the balcony was lovely, however we had an unpleasant experience as we booked this hotel for the beach front location, we were unable to use the hotel beach as had to pay extra 60 euros every time!!!!! when I expressed my surprise the manager became very defensive and very rude. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are prepared to pay extra every time you want use the beach .

Poor pool cleanness and as a result we were unable to use the pool. We had to pay extra 60 euros every time if we wanted to use the hotel beach front. Very rude staff made us feel not welcomed.

The location near a beach bar and the breakfast provided at the beach bar was lovely.

The advert to the hotel is somewhat misleading as the beach bar is separate to the accommodation, so one needs to pay to sit on a beach chair at the beach advertised on the site. The WiFi was poor to access both at the hotel and beach bar.

I will not recommend this place ever again. We were staying at the Hotel Kohilia and it did turn out that we have to pay minimum 90 euro for shade in LA Scala Beach - which it is part of the hotel! Absolutely ripping off crappy thing ever!!!

The location is wonderful! It belongs to the most beautiful beach in Thassos, has large and spacious rooms, and the view of the courtyard surrounded by flower trees and the sea is great!

The bathrooms need renovations! They look outdated and a little more attention should be paid to their cleanliness.

I would come again and recommend if they fix what I didn’t like about the property.

The location is exceptional sorounded with trees and the air feels like you are in the forest. Very close to the great La Scala Beach with great misic and exceptional staff. Only 2km from Limenas.

The property is old building, the metress was old and soft and need replacement. No power plugs next to the bed and on the balcony. No wifi internet in the rooms, and very poor internet in the comon areas.

Few electrical sockets to use. In the room the fridge made some big noises, during the night, it was hard to get a good, relaxing sleep. Bad smell coming from the bathroom.

Great place!

First of all the location is great! Right behind the La Scala Beach, I think the most beautiful beach from the island! We served breakfeast at La Scala Beach and we had a 10% discount during the day beacause our accommodation at Kohylia... the room was very clean, spacious and the staff very friendly. They provide as beach towels and everything we need, with no extra charges. I highly recommend this hotel in Thassos! Thank you Kohylia!

Not what I expected.

The staff were very polite, sociable and always ready to help yoou, the view was good, too. The rooms were cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day - they give you the choice how often you want the room cleaned, which I liked a lot. The beach (La Scala) near the hotel was brilliant - the staff there was wonderful, too.

Because of the photos I expected one thing, but the reality was not exactly the same. I didn't like the fact that there were no glasses in the room - there was a sink and hot plate to cook on and no utensils whatsoever. It was also quite noisy - people talking till the middle of the night, that is not the hotel's fault of course, but they could introduce some policy connected to noise and warn the guests, because obviously it is not clear to some tourists that if you chose a hotel out of the town, you would want peace and quiet at night...The breakfast was generally good, but there was no variety.
