A comfortable, hospitable, natural and spiritual Bali experience

The staff were so nice, gave us a nice welcome bell sound. The property was comfortable and luxurious for a super affordable price. Room service on top. And they let us store our bags there when we had checked out!

I wish I could stay longer — this has been a wonderful experience.

I like it here because there are many trees, the architecture is wonderful, and it feels peaceful.

There’s only one personal thing I don’t like — the Buddha statue by the pool. I think its placement isn’t really appropriate.

Dated but has good food

The food was unexpectedly good. The staff are kind and polite.

The location is a bit far out from Ubud Centre you need about 20 min or more to get there from centre. The hotel has no elevators so not disability friendly, no ramps either. The doors don't feel safe for a female traveller, they use a wooden lock on the inside and have a dead bolt. The hotel is quite dated and they need to do some renovations to update it but maintain that Bali spirit 😁. The bidets were leaky and the showers also need updating to improve water pressure. taking into account regular height tourists above height 5ft 5 inches.

A MUST STAY!

We stayed in Ubud for our anniversary and the staff were so lovely to us! The hotel is amazing! It felt like I was at an actual rain forest, I loved it so much! The hotel is not walking distance from the city centre but you can easily catch an uber and you'll be near the Monkey Forest, restaurants and bars. I wish we had stayed longer!!!!

Breakfast is limited for options. They can cook eggs to order but they sever mostly Balinese food for breakfast.

Great views with some disappointments

Garden, sculptures, swimming pools, the views, tranquillity, the flowers fragrance. The room size, the mattress, the view from the room. Light in a room from the garden.

Bathroom: hot water was only available in the shower and availability was very slow. Lighting a bathroom was insufficient. Lack of storage in a bathroom. The breakfast was basic and presentation wasn't great. The staff were not adequately trained in some areas many lacked sufficient English to communicate. Number of errors was made during our booking and departing.

The most tranquil atmosphere - so relaxing, surrounded by greenery, it felt as if we were In the forest. Beautifully quiet - so nice not to be among the throngs of tourists at the big hotels. Great staff - a wonderful hotel to unwind and relax at.

A little bit of maintenance needed around the pool. Not easy to get anywhere without a driver or the shuttle bus.

Affordable tropical jungle style resort - enjoyable!

It’s an older resort but is well kept and for the price offers excellent value. Interesting and well maintained gardens and lots of steps and pathways to explore if that’s your thing- all the way down to the river that flows below. Breakfast was decent. Pools were quiet which was lovely. Rooms comfortable, wifi fine, cleaning promptly done daily. Would visit again for sure.

An older property so expect the odd broken tile that might be sharp but otherwise nothing to complain about.

There was nothing that we disliked about the property. The location is a little way out of Ubud but we were happy to walk most days into town through the monkey forest If you struggle with stairs, there are a lot of them, to your room to the pool and the restaurant It’s not that fact that there’s a lot of stairs. It’s that they are not a standard height and some are quite difficult to walk up and down.

Perfect place to stay for the money paid.

Fabulous place in gardens with very nice staff. The hotel feels a bit old but it only adds to pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is available 7-23 so if you don’t manage to leave the hotel for local trips you have still large menu to chose from.

The estabilishment is getting old so few details are undermaintained, but overall still working well and not being a show stopper.
