Lovely relaxing stay and gorgeous staff

Our room overlooked the pool and the valley/river area. The pool was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault them. They always had a big smile and wave when they saw us. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed for 15 nights, and although the location is away from the centre of Ubud, the village of Nyuh Kuning (near monkey forest) was just perfect for us. The village is quite lovely and has plenty of dining options.

We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant and the quality of food. The food was average quality for the standard of accommodation. The place is not being maintained properly. The owner needs to spend more money in maintaining a good standard all the time. We can see that the standard has dropped significantly since this was opened.

Not for solo female travellers, and definitely not 4 stars

Reception staff in the day time were lovely.

I asked in advance for a late checkout and they said they couldn't because they were fully booked, yet the night that I stayed there I didn't see a single soul. When I arrived back at the hotel at 11pm there was one man smoking/asleep in the lobby and about 4 young men all lying down asleep on the couches. As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe here. I know there was no one else in the hotel rooms nearby mine because all night every single balcony light stayed on, however if there had been patrons then they would have to turn them off to go to sleep or there would be too much light coming through under the curtain to sleep.

Gorgeous views from balcony with comfortable seating. Hotel and restaurant staff were absolutely lovely and happily assisted with taxis and other requests. Staff presented beautiful birthday gift on my last day.

The rooms are spacious and clean, however the hotel is looking quite run down and is need of some basic maintenance in rooms, lobby, pool and garden areas.

I loved the view from the back of the hotel. It’s just amazing. Lots of nature. 100%recommended if you are looking for connecting with nature. It’s about 10 minutes far away a from Ubud center by motorbike. There is also a yoga centre next door with a nice restaurant.

There is not a pathway to walk outside of the hotel. Breakfast was included but it was not buffet, it was a la carta. I preferred to have breakfast outside in the beautiful Coffe shops in Ubud center.

For my 76yr old father hard to get around when leaving property. Both nights was celebration time and the cook was not available at hotel. 1st night difficult for father to walk up road for dinner. 2nd night ordered food with hotel guest who went pick it up for us. He was wonderful. Had to try a few times. Not the Hotels fault… just circumstance

Disappointing

Pool and surroundings are amazing. The view from the pool is really breathtaking and garden looked amazing, very well maintained. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Never stayed in dirtier place in my life. I know that they just reopened in May, 2023 after being closed for two years because of COVID, but the hygiene was unacceptable. Bathroom was very dirty, staines on showers, bathtub and toilet. The pillows had dried blood staines. Ventilation was horrible, had a feeling I'm in a very bad public bathroom. We also had problems with bugs, like cockroaches, that were coming through the vent and not from the outside garden. All together should be avoided, since for this money you can find much better place in Ubud.

it had a tv but nothing else

no safe, was under refernishment which would have been nice to know before booking. staff consistently looked into room which felt unsafe. LOCATION WAS NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED AT ALL. As advertised x2 restaurant but was closed due to refurbishment, so there was no restaurants in walking distance.

nice location but everything seemed ‘off’

the sound of the river and how conveniently it was located

Stayed in this hotel for a few days and was ready to leave by the end.. I only saw two other guests the whole time so if you want to have peace and quiet it’s the one for you. It feels like a completely forgotten hotel.. The ‘garden view rooms’ are essentially have one wall that is glass so you are full display to anyone in the hotel with 0% privacy. so if people were in them they had their blinds closed which feels like a shame. Luckily I had a river view room (you don’t see the river though) but the sound was lovely. if you are on the ground floor with someone above you you can hear every single footstep, movement and argument they’re having… There is no real food available and no one at the bar by the pool the entire time I was there so if I stayed in I ordered meals on the delivery service ‘Grab’ and ate in my room. The breakfast here was the ONLY thing that made me sick in Bali :( my instant coffee in the room was better than the one I requested. Considering the sachets must have been there so long they had moth eggs or something on them. One morning I ordered toast and the butter that came with it was rancid, eggs had so much salt it made me thirsty and the mi goreng made me feel so unwell I spent a day in bed.. definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here. every single day between about 10-11 and 4-5pm the wifi would die.. so that really sucked. Only thing I’d be paying for is the view from the room…

Check In was very flexible, and the furnishings in the room were quite modern.

There were bugs in the room - very large ants. The entire room also smelt like mothballs, and the toilet seat was damaged. We weren’t given a supply of toilet paper, other than a single roll.

Sparkling clean rooms, nice design, beautiful pool area overlooking the jungle.

Close to main road, some Traffic noise you can hear in the rooms. Property pretty enclosed , does not have the spaciousness and quietness you would expect from Ubud. However also bit removed from centre.

Preciosa la piscina, buena Internet, el personal muy amable, camas comodas. El servicio de comida a la habitación estuvo muy bueno y barato. El desayuno era sencillo pero estaba rico

En departamento que arrendamos estaba muy hediondo, el olor provenia de uno de los baños, si bien el personal fue amable y lo reviso y se preocupo el olor nunca se fue, por lo que cerramos la puerta y nunca más lo usamos. El otro baño tenía mal olor el wc. Una pieza estaba llena de humedad. Si bien era un departamento con cocina mo están los impelementos para cocinar, y encontramos incluso una Cuchara de palo con hongos. Estaba lejos de todo, nada caminable.

部屋がもうちょっと広かったら、使いやすいなと思いました。やや大きめのスーツケースを開く場所がなかった。
