- Staff were SUPER friendly and even walked us over to the townhouse we were staying at!
- I finally learned how to use a coffee machine thanks to their useful notes
- Cleaned the room good and properly and it was nice and fresh when I returned in the evening
- Could have used wih a Smart TV as I'm a tech savy and prefer to watch my media on YouTube / Netflix
- The hotel bar could have been open for a little bit longer but that's wishful thinking on my part

We arrived at the hotel in the pouring rain after a journey down from Worcester, during which our car broke down somewhere near Mertyr Tydfil and we had had to leave it with a garage recovery service.
We were.soaking wet, tired, anxious and just a bit fed up with our day!
Hayley and Aaron on Reception could not have been nicer, more welcoming nor more professional.
They oozed empathy, cheered us up, made us laugh and gently put us back together! Hayley recommended a lovely restaurant a day we had a wonderful evening

We stayed just for the one night in a second floor twin room (Lena) in the town house which is just across the road to the side of Morgan's main hotel. This was a clean, comfortable, well equipped room with a nice modern bathroom. All the staff we met were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The receptionist who greeted us on arrival was lovely, showed us across the road to the town house and carried my suitcase all the way up to our room. We opted to have breakfast which was £15 each and really good value. Excellent continental choice and a hot option cooked to order. One thing to note is that if you stay at the town house then you have to walk across the road to the hotel dining room for breakfast which isn't ideal if it's raining. The hotel side door is open from 11am to 7pm - I do think it could be opened a bit earlier (maybe 8am) to accommodate breakfast guests in the town house who are popping across - however having put this same review on TripAdvisor, the hotel responded by saying that there are rooms close to this entrance so they limit access until later on to prevent disruption to guests staying here which is a fair point. Morgan's is a lovely hotel, quite grand and lavish but modern also. It's in an excellent location in Swansea, close to the Marina, Swansea Arena (where we went to see John Bishop) and the city centre. Highly recommended.
Nothing - it's a gorgeous hotel in an excellent location.

This is our second time stating at the Morgan’s but our first time staying in the Town House. The townhouse is a lot more modern and well decorated. Lovely and clean and the rooms were huge.
Can’t wait to come back in a few weeks

The breakfast was outstanding. Everything you could think of or need at top quality. The location is perfect for attractions, shopping etc.
There wasn't anything about it that could have been better.

Plug sockets 😑

Well located for the city city and despite having a ground floor room on a Friday night, it was quiet with no disturbance from outside.
Short on conveniently located plug sockets: in order to use my laptop I had to unplug the coffee machine or the desk lamp to use it at the desk.

Character of the building, individual rooms, not like a chain.
The reception manager on Saturday night was exceptional. Helped us with a problem we had, nothing seemed too much trouble, as well as being a charming fun lady.
One or two maintenance glitches in bathrooms. It would have been nice to have a restaurant. They recommended a restaurant across the road, we got a free drink if we mentioned the hotel, but the foodcwas very poor.

The car park was fine..altho we were in the townhouse and got a ticket for parking outside our room just to pack cases ..being disabled..
Its a joke that you cannot get room service if you get put in the townhouse ..you can have it in the main hotel ..but you get penalised if your put over the road ....the decor of the townhouse could do with cheering up..Augusta room is actually khaki green and a bit depressing....the food is superb the rooms are ever so comfy..and the location is superb

There we staff available to convey the issues to even though they could not fix them themselves.
Room was extremely cold and the thermostat did not work to improve it. Informed reception but maintenance had finished for the day. No heating in bathroom as the towel rail formed the only source of heat and that was not working because it had not been bled correctly if at all. Both issues were fixed the next day but by then it had already spoilt our stay.
Whilst fixing the room heating which originated from under the bed they must have found some durex lube which I can only assume they believe was ours as this was then left on our bedside table for us to then dispose of. This highlighted the fact that cleaning / maintenance hadn't been performed to an adequate enough standard otherwise both the heating issue and the previous guest item would not have come to light.

An old property which looked inviting but we were shown to a town house down the road. We had a nice large room but this cost us a lot extra.
The price, the thin walls next to some inconsiderate neighbours, we didn’t appreciate having to walk down the road in the rain to have breakfast. We were locked out on our 2nd day so again got wet returning to reception not too happy with the breakfast procedure if ordering a full English or Welsh or other ‘package’ as we didn’t want everything and so we just asked for the individual items we wanted. No decaf coffee or granulated coffee in 1st day. My bed was well used on one side and so I kept rolling over, not funny with my disabilities.

Well located near the centre of the city. On-site parking is a bonus. Excellent breakfast choice (and delicious too!). Staff couldn’t be more friendly (special mention for Amy on reception who was brilliant).

The staff were lovely and helpful. Location was good for our concert venue. Breakfast was good.
For a four star hotel, we expected higher standards. Our room smelled of damp and carpet heavily stained. The room was very tired with old furniture and old beds. No room fridge. We thought our rooms would be within the hotel courtyard but they were located across the street from the main building. The bar / lounge area was cold and unheated. There was no evening food available.

We came for a party - it was a fantastic evening! Our room was comfortable - but I think a touch overpriced compared with others! We booked very early and 'others ' booked later but seemed to get a cheaper and better price. The shower was excellent and the toiletries nice. The bed was OKish! My husband liked the coffee machine. Hairdryer good. Breakfast buffet looked very appealing and tasted good - hot breakfast good although I wanted my egg turned and that didn't happen but egg was nice! All in good.
The price!

The hotel is in a good location .
The bar had the rugby match blasting and it wasn’t cosy. The outside doors opened straight into the bar and we had to get up and close them as it was cold. As a 4 star hotel and rated the best in Swansea , the hotel didn’t offer any food choices apart from breakfast .
At breakfast service, you had to get your own tea and coffee . The staff just took your order, served it and then cleared up after you had finished instead of clearing the table of used dishes during your meal for you to have room to place the cooked breakfast .
The room in the Town house, we stayed in overlooked the back of Sainsbury’s and had lorries delivering very early in the morning so I had a disturbed sleep.

The staff were all very professional and friendly and gave great service. The bar is lovely to sit in and the service and ambiance were great. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
We were in the townhouse rooms over the road from the hotel, which was ok but the attic room felt slightly cramped, although the size was fine, but ceiling heights a bit lower. The rain woke us up during the night as it was very loud on the attic ceiling.. but I don't blame you for the rain !!

Great location in Swansea - close to town and beach.
I've stayed twice and prefer staying in main hotel than over the road.

Location, parking, staff, comfortable quiet room. Breakfast had plenty of options and food good.
Have used this hotel successfully on a previous occasion, so a pleasure to return.
We did pay significantly more this time (possibly we had "a deal" the first time?) but felt it was worth it.

Everything was on point, the breakfast was incredible. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The bar had several options available, and of course you can order some to your room. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are amazing. The main building itself is a beauty.
You will need to ask for toiletries and others if needed. There was no restaurant so not much to choose from when arriving late at night. There are several options for dinner outside though.
