Aprartment 35 very bad smell and neighbour to the restaurant toilet

The hotel has some lovely facilities, a nice pool area, and a decent restaurant.

We stayed in apartment #35, which unfortunately was very dark, and the restaurant's bathroom window opened directly onto the terrace outside the apartment. As the window was left open, we were constantly disturbed by the sound of toilet flushing, which made the setting quite unpleasant. The apartment had a strong musty odor, which was the main reason we asked to switch to another unit. Unfortunately, the hotel could only offer smaller apartments that didn’t meet our needs. However, those apartments were all in much better condition than #35. Due to the unbearable smell — and concerns about mold and mildew, which are not healthy to live with — we decided to cut our stay short and found alternative accommodation four days before our planned departure. The hotel was only willing to compensate us for the nights they were able to re-rent the apartment, which ended up being just one day. In our opinion, apartment #35 is entirely unfit for occupancy due to the strong odor and other issues. In addition, it is worn-down and poorly located compared to other units in the complex. We would strongly advise against booking this particular apartment.

The location was peaceful and surrounded by nature.

We really enjoyed the quiet and natural surroundings—perfect for a getaway. The pool area was lovely, the apartment was spacious, and the overall atmosphere was great for relaxing.

Unfortunately, the apartment had a significant humidity issue. The walls were damp and there was a persistent, unpleasant smell inside, which made it less comfortable to stay indoors.

We had a very pleasant stay! I strongly recommend to bring a car.

This is a really good place to stay. There are different types of accomodations, so I can only answer for our apartment. We had a one bedroom apartment on the first floor, with a balcony faced towards the lake. It was very clean and everything in the apartment worked perfectly. Our two kids slept on a sleeping sofa in the living room. We prepared breakfast in the apartment, and also made some dinners on the stove. The property is nicely decorated with beautiful flowers. The staff is nice and friendly. There are two pools on the property, and there were always sunbeds available. The area is quiet, spacious and nice. We drove along the lake and visited other cities, which were quite crowded and claustrophobic. There is a promenad along the lake which is nice. The lake was really warm and you had to go a long way out to get out of the shallow ground, which is nice with kids. There are multiple restaurants to choose from around the hotel and in the nearby area.

The pillows were too flat for me. I asked for a second pillow and also a blanket, and got it delivered right away. The towels were only changed once, which is too little for a 1,5 weeks stay. I didn´t complain though, so we might have gotten some fresh towels if we had asked. We had to buy toilet paper ourselves, which I think should be included in the stay. I recommend to have a car if you are staying in this area. The buses are 30 minutes late, and it is a long time to wait in the hot weather. The only go once per hour. And the taxis are non existent in the area. The nearest supermarket is a long walk in the heat.

In general, the place was decent and we had a pleasant stay for 2 days. It was clean, decently spacious, self contained etc. However there were a few things that could be better. Based on the price paid and taking into account that we visited the place outside high season (nearly off season) I think the place is overpriced.

One of the things I did not like but did not complain about was that the photos on booking were showing a room with a balcony. Our room was located on the ground floor of a villetta instead. I would prefer to have the room I expected but OK, we were only there for a couple of nights so I decided not to report this to the reception. The kitchenette does not have an oven of any kind, and that is not convenient if you want to warm up food. Finally, the swimming pool was dirty as you can see in the photos. Decent but nothing special.

The location is very nice. Everything is clean. Be it the complex or the apartment, everything is well maintained.

As a non-smoker, I would like to see a smoking ban on the entire area, which is now up-to-date and as we know it from the USA. We had an apartment on the first floor, and sometimes when we sat on the balcony smoke smell came over to us or came up, I don´t know, which was not so nice in the moments. In the apartment you didn't smell any of it.

Nice stay

The suite is great for a family, we had a good kitchenette (but no microwave or oven, only a stove). The bed was not very comfortable but otherwise the room was very good and most importantly clean. The best part is the pool view on the ground floor allowing very easy access to it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. our apt was right next to the pool so the kids enjoyed it very much. the room was big and convenient with good A/C. it’s close enough to all the attractions by car

What thing I was missing is door keys for the interior doors to have some privacy. Unfortunately even the bathroom didn’t have a key. a simple solution would upgrade the experience
