Hotel under expectations, even for a short stay.

We reached the hotel by car, there are some parking lots around the hotel, but you need to pay for them. The hotel is at the very beginning of the main central street, you have many restaurants and bars immediately around the hotel entrance, shops, etc. The staff was nice and kind.

The room was extremely small, almost impossible to store the luggages in and to move around. Mattres was dirty. The WiFi connection was poor, not possible to connect to it. But the worst thing was the strong, terrible smell all around the hotel, all the day and night.

The staff were excellent: professional, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, too The room was very clean.

It’s not a case of what I didn’t like. This was a cheap place to say and the room was basic to match the price.

it was fine

it is very close to the tram stop and in the middle of the city so it has good connection in terms of transport

the room said it is on the 2nd floor but the lift stops at the middle and then I have to take two more floors in the stairs. I don’t mind it but I had a heavy luggage so it wasn’t easy to take it to the room. also the corridors need a bit of ventilation the air was not so pleasant to breathe. otherwise all okay

Good place for a stay in Brest, very centrally located (close to the art and naval museum, main boulevard, cable car as well as quite near the ferry port); comfortable rooms, ours had a wonderful view over the Penfield.

The hotel layout was labyrinthine, including flights of up and down steps--not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, nothing bad to report.

It is a great place for those who want explore the city ant its vibe, as it is located on the central square with a several restaurants around. The room is not so big but functional with comfy bed and nice balcony (from which you can hear local bands playing at restaurants below). The staff members on reception and cleaning ladies are very welcoming here.

The breakfast is nice but not so rich of choices as desired :)

A bit cold - it felt as if windows were open even if they were closed. And i am not freezing so easily. Instead of buying breakfast it might be better to use this money somewhere else.

Was functional

It served it's purpose

Once I got off the life I had about 3 flights of stairs to climb, it was very dark and the lights did not turn on until I was almost to the next flight! I am way too old to carry luggage up and down stairs

Really good and cozy

Hotel location is great, near several restaurants and facilities. There are also some supermarkets near. The breakfast buffet was good. Bed was really comfortable.

To access our room we needed to take the elevator and after that take two stairs

Room clean with a comfortable bed and good breakfast

No lift to our floor. Moved by hand our luggages to 3 floors of stairs was very unhappy. WI FI connection didn’t work. Our room was too far from the router. That’s is unacceptable if you sell a room with wifi service and then it doesn’t work. Water from the shower didn’t flow through the tube and every time we took a shower we had the bathroom full of water

Unfortunately too noisy - otherwise a fair budget-hotel

Room, bathroom, general services - all at requested level of budget town-hotel. Friendly & helpful receptionist. We did not try the restaurant - but looked good from visual impression. View from our room at daytime was great (nighttime refer to below) - across pedestrian area and fortress in background.

Our room was facing the pedestrian area = front-side/entrance of hotel. On ground-floor, right-hand and left-hand side there are several bars, including lots of outdoor seating. Popular with the young and party people of Brest! The same partied happily and heavily until around 1:30am that Thursday night. Yelling and shouting lasted until well after 2:00am. Sleeping with open windows impossible (and remember: no aircon). But significant noise even with windows shut! :-( Not too much noise-isolation noticeable, to my understanding. That's also the reason for a rating of 4 only - if one gets only a few little hours of restful sleep... AVOID front-side rooms!!! Back-side rooms (don't know, if available at all) should be fine, including nice views across the river/harbours/bridge. The parking on the street (backside) does not look very reassuring. Maybe better available in the area around (we didn't have time to search).
