The parking even though it is lonely a minute walk from the hotel, the car park didn’t really cater for bigger cars such as a Volvo XC90 MKII.

Lovely, cozy hotel in the Cathedral district

The hotel was exceptionally clean and cozy. I loved the Christmas theme. The lady on Reception/Breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It was very central and close to parking.

We had a Superior Double Room. It was very small but perfect for one night. Nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

Hotel location is good even though when you first arrive it seems to be well off the 'beaten track'...

Room was small and bathroom minute. You came straight out of bathroom into one bed and then had to squeeze around the room to get to the other... Building work ongoing with bathroom parts spread across the corridor. Door entry system difficult to understand/follow on initial arrival.

Excellent hotel, exceptional hosts and a beautiful hotel

The location was great as we travelled by train. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is lovingly cared for and is beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and in a calm location. Our whole stay was a pleasure.

Clean and inexpensive hotel for a weekend in Rouen.

Very Good value for the price, conveniently located, friendly, helpful staff. The room was small, but perfect for a busy site seeing weekend. The decor was charming.

I would have paid a bit more if there were the typical amenities like a bouilloire/coffee maker in the room so I could have a hot drink when I got up/ before I went to bed , but there is a policy at the hotel that forbids beverages in the rooms. Perhaps they had some bad experiences with other guests and liquids.

Pleasent stay

Lovely interiors and very clean property. The room we stayed was perfect for short term stay. Super close to seine and old town as well. The staff were kind and nice.

There was a strange odor in the coridoor between the door and the entrance of the room. Not a big deal.

Beautifly designed Hotel throughout, but bear in mind the distance from the rail station

What likely drew me to the hotel was the interior decor & design in the listing. This was certainly the case in person and it was easily the best interior decor & design of any Hotel so far of about 8 in France. All the room facilities worked well. Front of house staff all very pleasant and English spoken. I can recommend pizza at Stromboli on next block too, compact but very amiable.

I broke my normal rule of staying near the rail station - it is slightly downhill to virtually the river but it is almost 20 mins. Definitely took the tram back up the hill to the station. As a single room, at 11sq.m. it is virtually impossible to get around the bed to the far side - OK for single but difficult for two.

No parking lot and no refunds

It is very clean and the sheets smell of soap.

We chose the hotel, because it claimed to have a parking place available. However, the hotel doesn't have a parking lot available. There is a public parking place in the vicinity, but you need to pay for it. This information was only available after booking and paying the room and the staff refused to refund us. Very shady attitude indeed.

Good place for easy access to major sites in walking distance.

Front desk staff (just one guy whose name I unfortunately did not get) was kind and very helpful. This is a small hotel but well equipped. Breakfast is available and has lots of choices. A fuse blew out after 11 pm in our room but the staff came immediately and fixed it.

The room is a bit tight with no luggage racks and very little space to place a small suitcase (carryon!).

We had a great stay at Hotel Paulette. The hotel was clean, the location was excellent, and we were able to walk to the main attractions the city has to offer. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful and very welcoming.

Good for an overnight stop but has serious shortcomings.

The location is great and the staff are very pleasant. It is a nice hotel to stay for an overnight stop in a beautiful town.

The rooms are exceptionally small. There is barely room to put a suitcase on the floor, let alone walk around it. There are no tea or coffee making facilities, in fact bringing any of those into the hotel are banned. The size of the rooms means the bathroom is right by your head when you are sleeping in bed. This is made worse when there is a smell of sewage from the bathroom. We complained to the hotel staff who were not surprised and said it had happened before. Just be aware when you stay, you don't get the same.

The hotel was modern with nice appointments. The air conditioning worked well, especially since we were on the top floor. The location was very good.

Great location, very compact accommodation

The most « compact » room we had during our month long road trip in France. Yes, one meter all around the bed is all, which requires careful and purposeful moving around. Hotel looks recently renovated, well appointed. Bed was comfy, room was quiet even facing the street (a quiet side street). Great location near the Seine and the cathedral. Variety of restaurants within walking distance.

Small room and not value for money. When we arrived, we were given a room that was not refreshed after the last guest had used the bed. The management assigned another room to us.
