This is my Cheltenham go-to and comes highly recommended for business trips.

The breakfast is awesome, with something for everyone- it really caters for all dietary requirements. I always stay here when I come to Cheltenham; in fact, whenever I am working away from home, I look to book a Leonardo hotel first as I am always happy with the room I get, the staff service and wine is pretty good too :)

While the blackout curtains worked a treat, the windows didn't keep out the sound of the traffic. As a light sleeper, this meant a restless night sleep when I have a room on the A40 side. Other than that, no complaints.

Nice spacious room. Clean and fresh

Breakfast was good. Fresh and tasty. In the room there is no light for the standing mirror. I went to attend a wedding and wanted to wear a saree. So the room is a bit dark. Shower curtain fell off. Apart from that it was a nice stay. Room was very clean.

Very comfortable stay. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast with good choice of foods. Great having swimming pool for early morning dip. Staff in leisure centre helpful.

Convenient location and all staff were so friendly and welcoming. Hotel guests had access to a lock, to use in the spa lockers

We had to pay extra for parking Kids were jumping into the pool despite there being signs stating no jumping. Teenagers were entering the pool full of sweat, after being the steam room.

Old shower unit over a quite rough bath. Food in restaurant limited, a number of items not available, including burgers. Average food. Had to request sauces, not offered. Breakfast not well presented, and quite basic for the price.

We left so much more relaxed than when we arrived, thank you!

The leisure facilities were fantastic, we were only going to pop in for a quick swim but two hours later….. Loved the choice at breakfast, we ended up having three mini breakfasts because we couldn’t choose. We also had a great evening meal.

If I was being picky, the only thing I wasn’t keen on were the pillows. I found them a little too thick, but that was only me.

Good except for the lift

The hotel was lovely - but the bedroom was on the 2nd floor and the lift was Not working. this was a big problem as my husband has a problem with his legs.

No air con so room was warm, asked for a quiet room and they put us about the outdoor bar area, moved room to opposite side overlooking run down tennis court. The staff did provide us with a fridge for the room which was nice. Hotel is dated though and the leisure facilities are run down and dirty.

Lovely Hotel with exceptional staff

The staff were all so hospitable, friendly and great service all round. We arrived for check in at 2am approx AJ supported us so well, the room was a great size and we slept well in the beds very comfy and lots of pillows! Enough towels for 2 people. We forgot toothpaste and Jenny was so lovely and organised it for us. Lovely hotel decor Bar was also great - Good location - We didnt use the spa unfortunately as no time but enjoy our stay completely.

Room too hot and housekeeping disturbed me.

The room was a good size. The bathroom was clean

No air con. The window wouldn’t open far so we couldn’t get much air either. To be fair, I should have checked if there was air con so that was my fault. Housekeeping knocked at the door at 10am. Luckily I had woken up half hour before. I said I wasn’t ready. Would they have let themselves in if I was still asleep or in the shower? Check out was 11 so I could have slept until 10.50 if I wanted and still checked out in time.

Friendly warm welcoming hotel, great stop over with excellent facilities and even better staff

Great location, clean and smart. Obviously was a luxury hotel at one time but although a bit dated here and there keeping up great standards. However for us the staff made our stay exceptional, especially the evening team when we arrived. It was the first time we travelling with our newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic & ceoliac daughter. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, were very grateful.

The rooms are a bit warm although best efforts and fan supplied.

Location and hotel amenities

We booked the room with 2 children. One under 1 and a 3 year old. On booking the room I opted for was a suite with pull out bed as that was the most cost effective with essentially 3 people and a baby, and told there d be a cot. Once booked I reached out to the hotel to confirm a cot and for early check in. I was told they couldn’t confirm till the day we arrived. I checked in and enquired about the cot and they told me not to worry the room was ready with a cot. I went up to the room and there was not cot or pull out bed made.
