Good hotel but needs a emergency electricity backup generator

Clean staff lovely and helpful and good breakfast

We had power cut so no cool water to cool bath or flush toilet’s and no lighting For over an hour which my stay was for a wedding in another hotel which made me late for hair and makeup for the wedding also im a sleep apnea patient so i needed to run on electricity my cpap machine and i woke up gasping for air really think this hotel should have emergency power back up

Hotel and facilities were 10/10 and would come again l! Some staff need some training

Clean, tidy, all staff were very friendly apart form one in the restaurant

One lady whom I reported to the manager on Sunday was rude! Questioned if I had paid for breakfast, told me I was taking too much food for my husband, which consisted of x2 eggs, mushrooms, beans and x2 vegan sausages and some pastries along with x2 juices! She was loud, and unpleasant, unprofessional as other people on tables next to us approached me and said how awful her service and approach was too me! This left my daughter very upset Manager apologised but not heard outcome or got apologised from this lady! Keep in mind the manger ch need us in before before being seated at the table for breakfast

The happy visitor

The welcome, through to the departure, was very easy an relaxed, did have to get permission for a last drink at 10 50 pm, but was granted , defo be back, next time will check out the facilities that come with the room, ie gym, pool, sauna , had a good experience thanks.

The staff on are absolutely fantastic - really friendly and willing to answer any queries. Many thanks to all the team for a great stay. Also, it was lovely to have a swimming pool and gym to use.

The swimming pool is quite small and it can get busy. It would be wonderful if a bigger pool could be built although I appreciate that the cost of this might be prohibitive.

Enjoyable sray

The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and comfy.Dinner in the restuarant was excellant. A special shoutout for Christina in the bar.

The buffet breakfast was very disappointing. Bacon overcooked, sauages tasteless and continental breakfast selection was poor

The tv in the room was broken.. we didn’t have enough towels for all of us. Bedding had marks and stains on. Plus the front doors were broken which made me concerned in case of a fire

Very helpful reception staff when the taxi was a little bit late. Able to access one of our rooms before the check in time. Nice staff at breakfast.

The showers in the gym were not very clean. The breakfast fruit was very basic and consisted of melon slices and an orange.

Fantastic Staff - Reception and Bar/Restaurant- They made our stay memorable

You have exceptional Staff. Your Female Staff at RECEPTION, BAR and Breakfast are exceptional. Happy and LOVE their work. Any business is only as good as the staff who represent them and these three Ladies gave exceptional Service Names were:- Lady's and Ashley in Bar and Breakfast and the Receptionist Lady who went out of her way to check us in and transport our Bags (Really Exceptional)

No heating in our room

The location is good and the bed were comfortable. We got room service and it was decent.

Our radiator was not working and we flagged it to the reception but nothing was done. So we had to sleep with cardigan on. A bit disappointed by the lack of reactivity of the staff.

This is my Cheltenham go-to and comes highly recommended for business trips.

The breakfast is awesome, with something for everyone- it really caters for all dietary requirements. I always stay here when I come to Cheltenham; in fact, whenever I am working away from home, I look to book a Leonardo hotel first as I am always happy with the room I get, the staff service and wine is pretty good too :)

While the blackout curtains worked a treat, the windows didn't keep out the sound of the traffic. As a light sleeper, this meant a restless night sleep when I have a room on the A40 side. Other than that, no complaints.

Breakfast was good. Fresh and tasty. In the room there is no light for the standing mirror. I went to attend a wedding and wanted to wear a saree. So the room is a bit dark. Shower curtain fell off. Apart from that it was a nice stay. Room was very clean.

Convenient location and all staff were so friendly and welcoming. Hotel guests had access to a lock, to use in the spa lockers

We had to pay extra for parking Kids were jumping into the pool despite there being signs stating no jumping. Teenagers were entering the pool full of sweat, after being the steam room.
