Imperial Palace Hotel

After my stay at Imperial Palace, I was left deeply disappointed. I chose this hotel expecting a high quality All Inclusive holiday, but the reality was very different. The biggest issue was the extremely long queues at both the restaurant and the bars. Almost every day we had to wait a considerable amount of time for food and drinks, turning what should have been a relaxing holiday into a constant wait. In my opinion, this reflects serious organizational shortcomings and insufficient capacity for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. The menus did not always match what was actually available, and the quality of the beverages did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel of this category. I was also disappointed by the condition of some of the public areas. After rainfall, there were damp and wet sections, and in some places there were visible signs that, in my opinion, suggested poor maintenance. In addition, I noticed windows that had been secured with bolts, which raised concerns about both comfort and safety. My greatest disappointment, however, came after my stay. Instead of acknowledging that there were issues and attempting to resolve them, I received a lengthy legal-style response in which every complaint was dismissed as either “subjective” or the result of “temporary peak occupancy.” As a guest, I expected understanding and a genuine willingness to improve, not a response focused solely on defending the hotel’s position. I work in the hospitality industry myself, and I understand that challenges can arise during periods of high occupancy. The difference is that well managed hotels address those challenges instead of making excuses for them. Unfortunately, my overall experience did not justify the price I paid. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high quality All Inclusive holiday.
