Great stay for the money

good hotel. The reception hardly answerd the phone. One of them was rude and yelled at me not to call there and hunged up on me. So i went all the way to reception to get soap because the house keeping did not leave us few days!

I was appalled at the room we were given. I had booked a studio suite with a king size bed. This turned out to be in a semi deserted block at the end of the shopping mall attached to the hotel. It was scary going there in the dark each night, taking the lift to the 3rd floor, which was also deserted and dimly lit. As for the king sized bed, it turned out to be two old wooden single beds pushed together. Not attractive and certainly not comfortable. The reception staff and manager listened but refused to change us and as we were two females (my daughter and I), we felt let down and vulnerable being in a different building to the main hotel.

Water in the pool was very cold. Wifi not reliable.All Barcelo hotels should offer the same quality of service but this was not the case in sunny beach hotel
