Wow what can I say , fabulous first time to Bulgaria and booked this booked this hotel last minute for a short stay 5th to 10th sept, after a long 18 hour drive from turkiye (our home ) was welcomed at reception, we had requested parking but none available at the hotel there's only room for about 8 cars anyway but the valet took us to another paid parking site about 4 minutes away 15 Euro a day , at reception was given 2 door cards Aircon and TV remote, i had requested a higher floor due to reading that they had been refurbished we had room *** 19th floor side room absolutely stunning had sea view side vire of a big hotel and land view , the room was large 2 singles together and a separate single and a sofabed,TV with 2 English channels , tea coffee facilities better to bring your own teabags and coffee or you can get teabags & sugar from dining room, plenty of cupboard space, a space for suitcase , very tastefull decor, and the beds and mattress look new and comfortable mattress i have a back problem and slept very well i can't have a hard mattress, also the pillows are comfortable, spare pillows and duvets in the cupboards, lovely bathroom plenty of hot water just be careful of slip's as water goes outside the glass area, hairdryer is powerful,there ate only 2 lifts and can be slow at meal times , don't bring a iron there is a door next to the lifts at reception which is a ironing room and had a steamer also and the room isn't locked , FOOD read a few reviews saying it wasn't good but don't know how anyone can grumble, BREAKFAST, an assortment of continental and English, omelettes and eggs prepared , assortment of cereals muesli yogurt ect, cheeses hams olives and what you would expect for a English breakfast, lunchtime menu there was a good array of different dishes pork and chicken stews soups , fresh pizza chips kebabs and similar for evening, and there's a afternoon tea, plenty of sweet stuff for puddings and the nuggets and chips and burgers too, self service tea and coffee and soft drinks , beer and cocktails at the bar in the dining room, huge lounge bar area that was never full offering good drinks , also a pool bar , the dining room is large we never struggled for a seat maybe the time of year but also seating around the pool area to eat , there access to the prom and beach through a gate (use your room card to swipe) cleaner came in every day replenished loo roll clean bins made beds , in 5 nights we had a bed change and if you want clean towels leave on the floor hang them up if your going to use again , young blonde girl on lounge and pool bar *** was was an absolute joy to see hardworking and always smiling, the reception toilets was always clean , 1 down point the dressing table has a pouffe I'm 5,6 but when sat down i couldn't see the mirror not a problem if your 6ft , nothing really to complain about, trust me this hotel is lovely and we will return, the location we found was easy access to everything and flower street that's the main hub apparently, we ate out a few times due to meeting up with friends who live there and one place was Hawaii bar next to fat cat, amazing meal in thete and value for money, a must do is nessebar absolutely fabulous old town , the beach was sandy and clean 16.50 EUR for a brolly and 2 loungers, be wary of the jellyfish i saw 2 and had to leave the water , book the grand hotel with confidence ( British couple 50s )
