Novotel London Waterloo

Superb location for my travel purpose. Ultra clean premises and very kind and helpful staff.

Slightly overpriced, but definitely worth it.

The location of the hotel was really helpful, there's a bus stop 2 min away from the hotel and there is another bust stop just opposite the hotel, so it made commuting easy. The hotel is conducive and very warming. Staff are friendly. Nice and affordable meals

I had to go outside of my room to fetch water for drinking and the bottle in the room is small, notheless, that is not a deal breaker.

It was my son's birthday and they kindly left him a card and a birthday treat which was a nice touch and really made him happy. Also there are refillable water bottles and water stations outside the room which is great with young children. Beds are really comfortable and the shower is fabulous, and has ritual products. We didn't have breakfast but the food in the bar was tasty and my little boy loved the play area in the lobby. The location is great for exploring.

There wasn't anything we didn't like we were only there for 1 night while travelling and felt it had every thing we needed x

Unfortunately, our experience with the restaurant did not meet the standard we expected from a Novotel hotel. We had booked our stay on a half-board basis, expecting a good variety of meals. However, the selection of food available was very limited, and our daughter was only allowed to choose two items from the menu, which was both disappointing and unnecessarily restrictive. This limitation was never made clear when we booked our stay. In addition, the quality of the food was disappointing, and on several occasions we were told that items listed on the menu were unavailable because key ingredients were missing. As a result, the already limited menu became even more restricted, leaving us with very few choices. More concerning, however, was the attitude of some of the restaurant staff. They appeared unhappy and unmotivated, and on more than one occasion their behaviour towards us felt unprofessional and discourteous. During one interaction, I looked at a staff member’s name badge so that I could identify him, but he noticed and said, “I keep forgetting to wear it.” I found this response inappropriate and it gave the impression that staff identification was not being taken seriously.
