1 star- Seedy karaoke pub- not a wellness spa hotel

The only positive was that we had a lovely meal in the restaurant, which was genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, that was the sole highlight of the stay.

I stayed at Hotel Cristallo on Sunday night, expecting a quiet spa weekend. What I got instead was one of the worst hotel experiences of my entire 3-week trip through Italy. There was live karaoke blasting until midnight — loud, off-key, and completely inappropriate for a hotel that markets itself as a spa destination. The overall atmosphere felt more like a seedy pub than a hotel, let alone a place meant for rest and relaxation. To make matters worse, there were children screaming and running up and down the corridors late at night, with absolutely no intervention from staff. I called reception to complain, and the response was completely nonchalant. No apology, no attempt to control the noise, and no offer to move rooms. As a result, I had one of the worst nights’ sleep of my trip — the exact opposite of what you expect when booking a spa weekend. This hotel is not a 4-star property by any stretch. The interiors are outdated, and the experience does not remotely match the rating or the price point. The spa offering is also misleading. Spa services were not included, unlike virtually every other spa hotel I’ve stayed at in Italy, which made the stay feel like a complete rip-off. To top it off, we were placed on Level 1, directly affected by the noise, despite the hotel clearly knowing karaoke was scheduled that night. This feels either careless or deliberately dismissive of guests seeking rest. We were here specifically for a QC spa weekend, and I deeply regret not paying €40 more to stay at QC Terme instead. This hotel does not deliver on what it promises and is entirely unsuitable for anyone seeking peace, relaxation, or a true spa experience. I would not return and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

A very friendly hotel with the bonus of safe, underground parking and it was also fine to keep my bike in the bedroom. Has a very family-run feel.

Breakfast was really extensive but the coffee was really not good. I went out for coffee after the first day.

Very hot inside rooms with no fans or ac. Unable to open windows due to being above the noisy bar. No iron facilities- reception said had none to offer

A really nice hotel. Highly recommended!

The hotel room was really nice and convenient with a balcony over looking at the mountains. Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The spa is nice.

The breakfast was a bit too plain with no vegetables and mainly consisted of sweets. The ski room is not practical at all. At the first two nights we got a room at the top floor, an attic, really limited an worse then described when we booked, not fancy at all. We asked to change room to a one as described and only after 2 days we go it. The new room was excellent, although the mattress could be better.

Secure parking for our motor cycles was perfect.

Having arrived a little late we decided to eat in the restaurant. Limited choice on the menu of which I choose fillet steak and that's all you got, a piece of steak accompanied by the tiniest of vegetables which were more suited to plate decoration than an accompaniment. The thing that really annoyed us was the waiter asking for the tip to be left on the table rather than charging the meal to our room and sorting it then. Result : we didn't leave one!

Perfect stay, recommend to averbody who likes skiing or in summer cycling or hiking even biking :)

Perfect location, 5 minutes walking distance too all restaurants bakery, cofeterias, ice cream shop.. etc. Bigest super market 100meters from the hotel. Nice view from the balcony to Bormio downhill ski track. Very good breakfast and coffee machines making perfect coffee. Staff in the hotel very professional and polite, specially receptionist Elisa. Easy free parking lot in the Hotel. You don't bother with anything, they are well organized, perfect place for vacation and fun. Bormio thermal bath is on 7minutes walking distance.

They can put some fly burners lamps in some of hotel area like breakfast room. There is lot of flies in summer.

Excellent Hotel

Great stay, no complaints. Staff couldn't be nicer, we had bikes with us and there was no issue about leaving them in the room. Nice breakfast, opened up an hour earlier on race day.
