Perfect and comfortable in every way

Perfect hotel in every way. Comfortable, clean and ready for us when we arrived. Parking directly outside and wonderful breakfast.

The WiFi was a little tricky and kept kicking us off

Nice place to a overnight

Very nice close to the highway, on our way to Italy. Breakfast early and ok. Nice service at the hotel, parking easy by the hotel. The size of the room was fine, for a nights stay. There is a very good gasoline station with a little shop, at the top of the town We would stay there again for another time.

The beds were very soft, and the pillows very small.

Nice stay in a very nice village.

Location of the property is nice, immediately in the entry of the village. My room was clean and pretty Swiss.” Only stayed for one night, but was, overall, comfortable. The staff was accommodating.

Found myself cold at some point in the evening and unable to warm up. Perhaps I did not know how to operate the system.

Good

+ Reception and all interactions were friendly and professional. Breakfast was rich and of good quality. Rooms were clean and nice. +/- We decided not to have dinner there (for the reason see -), so wo can not say how good the food in the Hotel is. We went to the Central for dinner which made a delicious dinner in nice atmosphere for us.

- We felt cheated due to the following (which may or may not be relevant to you): We've reserved the smallest room (we do not care for size) and opted for the 2 bed room (which is important to us and one of the main decision criteria for selecting a Hotel). On arrival only we were made aware, that there is just a double bed room left for us. But when upgrading to the next higher class we could get a 2 bed room. So we had to spend another 10-15% of the room-rate. This made us feel cheated.. If this is not applicable to you, you may add 1-2 points to the overall score. Overall I might choose the Hotel again when traveling with my wife. But I would not go there again when on the road with friends - although another Hotel in this region would be nice as we have a few stays per year in that area.

The hotel is located on the main street. My bike could be stored safely in their garage! People were really friendly and professional. I even got a free room upgrade. Breakfast in the morning was very good. And the location is so nice, I could spend more days here.

charming place in the charming San Bernardino

beautifully renovated hotel in one of the historic buildings of San Bernardino. Wonderful place to stay for a hike in the region or just overnight. It really shows how old hotels in remote places can survive with good taste and good management. The restaurant is also first class and worth the trip.

Very nice breakfast basic and fresh produce. Nice modern bathroom and clean. Good location for San Bernardino area. some staff very nice.

Very basic room , not even a kettle. Loud church bells on the hour Opposite and room isn’t soundproofed Electrical Plugs for charging very old fashioned couldn’t get a modern plug in there Not enough shampoo 2 small sachets. Poor mattress and terrible pillows.

A typical Swiss night

We stayed only one night, in transit from Zurich to Como. All good: room, service, dinner and breakfast. We even got a free room upgrade: more space and better view. The cheese founde we had for dinner was simply epic, especially when paired with the snowstorm outside. Switzerland at its best.
